Just finished the Regular & Sicilian slices, I gotta say I was impressed!! I came in late around 8pm on a Thursday night, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, made me feel comfortable to stay and eat. The pizza though, the pizza was soooo good! Even late in the day, I was very pleased with it, a nice well done slice, perfect amount of sauce & cheese, I’m ready to go back in for 1 MORE SLICE lol I’m kidding … or am I … thanks guys, my new pizza joint!!!

I do not who is now running this place now but the quality has gone down the gutter. Ordered dinner (pizza, salad and 20oz soda). salad was soggy, they forgot the soda and pizza was cold like it’s been sitting out overnight. WTH!!! $50 down the drain. This is not the first time. Many times before they have messed up my order. I am no longer supporting Calda and ordering from them. I hope others have a better experience but the simple fact is they are picking quantity over quality.
Update 12/27/25: The owner responded sorry yet doesn’t seem like they are sorry. If they were they would’ve reached out to me and try to make things right. Instead they respond with the bare minimum words. Truly is sad! All the more reason to take my business elsewhere.

Looking for a new pizza place, I stumbled upon Calda Pizzeria, which offers plenty of seating for a restaurant-style experience and a takeout option for those in a rush. I tried their BBQ Chicken Pie, Garden Salad Pie, Grandma Pie, and Spinach Artichoke Pie. The BBQ Chicken Pie was delicious but a bit heavy due to the generous amount of BBQ sauce. The Grandma Pie was simple and could use a bit more flavor, but overall, it wasn’t bad. My favorite was the Garden Salad Pie, although it was quite messy. Lastly, the Spinach Artichoke Pie was good and flavorful but didn’t stand out as unique.

Calda’s Massapequa location is where it’s at! The manager & owners are fantastic! The food is incredible. My favorites are the bakery pie and the spinach & artichoke pie. Can’t go wrong. I’ve ordered via delivery many times from Calda and never had an issue. I tell all my friends and family to eat at Calda and support their business because they care about QUALITY. Quality staff. Quality ingredients. Quality service. I wish the Massapequa location had more than 4.5 stars because this location really is doing a great job.

This Sicilian slice is a joke, got sausage,
Peppers and onions, all uncooked. Paid $7 for this joke of slice, again veggies hard as a rock and uncooked and sausage looked uncooked and rare def not risking getting sick. Reg plain slice was good.

I dine here and cater parties . The staff is appreciative and accommodating. My catering orders are delicious they get it right everytime with special requests for dietary needs . I love this place consistent and they care and treat you right. Can’t wait for the next party.
Ps for Mother’s Day I ordered eggplant parm which is breaded and skinned delicious incredible ,chicken francese my company loved, rigatoni Christina out of this world and the salad for the party was the best I ever had with several types of letter and several items in it making it colorful and tasty .
Josh took my order on the phone and executed our needs to perfection .
I’m sad my company ate so much of their food cuz I was hoping for left overs but the company ate all of caldas food

Went here for my youngest daughter’s middle school graduation. I cant say enought good things about this place. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Feels like you are a guest at your best friend’s home for Sunday dinner.
