It took 30 minutes to get my Mushroom meltdown burger, but it was worth the wait. I stopped by for lunch, and they were busy. This was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The manager was on point running the show and getting the food orders correct and out fast. There were 3 or 4 orders in front of me with groups of 4 or more.

Very inexpensive and good food. I’ve been told to go to griffs for years but have never been. Finally made the trip and the food was alright. My burger patty was pretty dry. The fries and onion rings were pretty good. Fried apple pies were good. Nothing too extraordinary. A lot of the tables were messy and there was trash on the floor or on the table.

So I had tried another location and was greatly disappointed but after passing this Irving location the outside of the establishment was much cleaner so I decided to give them a try. Immediately walking in the restaurant was much cleaner and the staff looked attentive when greeting me. The food was fresh and presentable when it was given to me. Everything tasted fresh and I was very happy with my purchase. I will return and recommend this location for lunch and dinner in the area.

The food here was great and the service was very fast! There was a long line in the drive thru but it moved very quickly. The person who took my order could barely hear me but he never sounded annoyed. I got the chicken sandwich, it was juicy and very hot! A lot of fast food places serve dry chicken sandwiches but this one was delicious! My daughter got a cheeseburger and loved it! The employees were very nice as well. I would eat here again

Been hearing about this place for a very long time. I’m an advocate of supporting local and small businesses. The line might look intimidating, but it moves quick! You can taste the difference in the burgers and fries here. Their milkshakes have just enough malt and consistency to them. Worth the drive if you haven’t been!

Well very disappointed. It’s the rush of lunch time so why was my 2 orders tasted like the meat and fries been sitting under a heat lamp for hours?
Got the #7 and my checked fried steak was hard and not even warm. The veggies tasted old and barely any mayo. For the number 3 also and the fries were soft and cold and tasted like they been in a bag for hours.
I was clear when I said I’d like the number 3 with mustard and large Diet Coke. When the girl at the window gave me my drink it was a medium … I told her it should have been a large she had an attitude and then said that will be 30 cents more .
Then gave me my drink overfilled and the top was leaking.
This was during lunch rush so why was everything so bad?! 20$ not worth it and I didn’t even finish my food cause it was so bad …. There are too many options out there to settle for this kind of bad service and food

Amber, is what the staff told me is her name . i’m not sure if it is or not. I’m assuming she was the manager or supervisor in this establishment . I came in around 3:45 and order with the cashier . I’m waiting by the counter because i’m not sure how it works. Amber proceeds to yell the order number so obnoxiously loud while i’m standing like 2 ft away. Mind you theres a microphone where they call out the numbers . The other staff members used this microphone and it sounded professional . When she yelled this it sounded like she was taking all her anger/ frustration out . there’s no need to yell when there’s a function microphone . Then she is bossing around employee in front of Customers ( including myself ) . very unprofessional. also not to mention she’s not wearing a hair net( the other staff were it’s in picture ) and she’s working in the kitchen. i wouldn’t recommend coming here to dine in . i would just go to the drive thu . the food isn’t bad for the price , but that whole Amber thing was really unprofessional. Then Amber yelled at me again as i was walking out the establishment off the top of her lungs . it was really loud . then she was laughing . i’m not sure if it was to mock me or she just wasn’t aware of how loud she is .i hope this establishment gets better management .

This burger joint was a great choice made for a late lunch. I heard the name as we were searching for a place to eat. Griff’s Hamburgers sounded different, but hey, let’s try it! I’m very happy we did. The location appeared small with plenty of parking and a drive thru. The mascot appeared to be something from a drive-in movie, which made me curious. 1st, we saw the advised $1 ice-cream fudge bars. Then the front staff was ready to take our order. A few flat screens and plenty of seating. Placed our order, and the mic was used to repeat it to the back staff axtrue classic! The drinks were made (free refills) by the front employees, another huge plus! Then the food came out. Hot, fresh, and made to order. Paper wrapping, so you knew it was going to be a hit! Fresh straight fries to boot. Ketchup either in the bottle or packets with salt and pepper in similar packets. Said our prayers and enjoyed our meal. The burgers were hot and fresh! The price was way below the average cost, which made me excited! The guests there were kind and friendly it was just a good environment to be in. We were at the older part of Irving just a few miles from Grand Prairie, which were my old stomping grounds!! Griff’s Hamburger is definitely a step in the right direction and a true competitor among other burger joints! Hey Griff, North Texas is exactly what we needed!! Thank You!! My wife explored the restrooms and said they were well maintained as well.
