Not your average buffet. An excellent blend of freshly prepared foods separated out nicely so you are not in one continuous line of food snatchers.
The fish and shrimp were delicious and crispy not soggy as sometimes happens.
The salad bar was continuously stocked and cleaned.
The steak was delicously prepared and cooked to order as I watched and waited.
And the ROLLS… Oh my! From the bar they were fresh, hot, and melt-in-your-mouth bad for your waist line but good to your taste buds!
I was so full of everything else that I only had room for delicious peach cobbler (add a few peaches from the salad bar!) and ice cream for dessert. Both were a yummy end to a delightful meal.

We arrived right after the breakfast hours on a Sunday and got to enjoy both the remaining breakfast items and the fresh lunch items. The food quality was as expected from dining at many other Golden Corrals, however, the steak tasted off. Not sure if it was something wrong the meat itself or some odd flavoring that was being picked up from the grill. Either way I would say if it weren’t for the odd steak flavor I’d give this location 5 stars.

Excellent food with a terrific variety. Many choices of fresh salad items, well cooked comfort food, as well as a great variety of roasted meats. There is something for everyone- even picky eaters. Many, many dessert choices for kids and adults. Best of all, no waiting for your food because it’s all ready when you arrive. This location is clean, well managed, has excellent service and plenty of seating.

The coke and tea tasted weird like the tea was old and had vinegar in it. The coke too much carbonation, the grilled BBQ chicken tasted like a sewer, they actually took it off the counter, salad dry and the dressing was watered down and sour. This was my dad and daughters birthday dinner. It sucked. But the service was good when u could find them, u had to go get them to get more to drink. The only thing good was the buns. Soft, warm.

Manager and Staff did an OUTSTANDING job while being swamped with impatient hungry folks. From finding a chair for elderly folks to avoid standing outside in the cold, staff constantly sweeping up floors, food steadily being brought out, our drinks refilled before being empty and tables cleaned quickly for others to be seated. Best experience ever at a Golden Corral! Job well done!

My kids loved the cotton candy they were giving out.
If you like dessert, mix the vanilla ice cream with the blue mix. Tastes great.
My fav is the crab salad mixed with rice and some mashed potatoes and gravy..
It is a far drive from Atlanta and definitely not worth it to drive that far but if you are in the area, great food and clean

I have eaten at many of these Golden Corral Restaurants for years. I have seen some “complaints” on the reviews here. All I can say is.. visit some of the others and you will “see”.. this one is exceptional. This was my first time visiting here 5-29-23 for lunch. Here’s the stats: I was greeted like I “owned” the restaurant when I walked in the door. Small batches of food were continually rotated out to the bar and kept fresh. My waitress was super nice, polite and checked on me several times and filled my glass without asking. I felt “served” AND “valued” as a customer. Two things that are very hard to find today in the restaurant business. The stats: Bathroom – 5, Food taste – 5, Freshness – 5, Restuarant floor – 5, Wait Staff – 5, Front end management – 5. I kept trying to “find” something wrong…but couldn’t this time. I wouldn’t expect all this in Gainesville, Ga?? This one was worth the trip.
