After being seated was not greeted by the waitress to inform us, it would be a few minutes before she could get to us because It was crowded. She was not very pleasant nor attentive. Asked for Cocktail sauce to go with our shrimp. She brought some sort of concoction in a to go container stating she had to make some for us. The skewers were asked To be prepared , well done However.Multiple pieces head pink. There were too much mushrooms in the entire platter. The new york strip was asked to be prepared , medium rare and it came out well done. I asked for steak sauce , the waitress , returned to 3 different tables over a period of four minutes at that I had not touch my meal. I finally got up and found a manager. He returned with a Ramekin style container about the size of a dipping sauce one would use for chicken nuggets versus the bottle.
The manager offered to discount our meal which was refuse. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE will never be overlooked for a discounted meal.

Food was terrible, almost everything came out burnt! we had to return the blooming onion, steak came you burnt as well & my shrimp was over cooked, waiter did a great job accommodating the issue and remade the steak over for us.. we spent $100 and it was not worth it at all

I placed a to-go order and unfortunately had a frustrating experience. After arriving, I sent the message indicating I was there for pickup but received no response. I waited at the designated pickup area, but no one was present. Several employees walked past without acknowledging me until someone finally helped. My food had apparently been sitting on the shelf the entire time.
When I got back on the road, I discovered the sweet potato was burnt and the fish was dry. I still had a two-hour drive ahead, so turning back wasn’t an option. Sadly, this isn’t the first time my order has been below expectations.
Food choices in the Lumberton area are limited, and it feels like this place is relying on that fact rather than maintaining quality. Disappointing experience, especially considering it’s happened more than once.

I ordered a soup and salad to go. When I picked it up. I walked into the to Go area. There were ladies just on the other side of the wall talking and somebody else walking by and no one said. How can I help you. I was also disappointed in the fact that I ordered French onion soup and the topper was wrapped in aluminum foil and melted to it and I had to pick it off. Little disappointed in this. I will say that the French onion soup tastes good and I was glad to see one of their loaves of bread in my bag.

Really nice meal with great service. Sirloin steak was perfectly medium and well-seasoned, loaded mashed potatoes were delish and a huge portion, and the house salad was great as usual. The brown bread was a bit disappointing both in flavor and appearance (hot dog bun-shaped). The margarita, though strong, was very acidic (maybe the mixer?). Either way, we’d definitely come back. Food was so good!

I placed an order today at 3:38 pm and was told by the person who took the order that it would be ready in 23 minutes but it would not take that long. I waited for almost an hour outside with no food! I called back to see what was taking so long and of course the phone rang several times with no answer. I received a text stating my order was almost ready but no one ever came out. I called back again 2 times and spoke to someone and informed the person of how long I had been waiting and wanted to know what the issue was, he said “I’ll let them know” and still no food. I pulled off and left the food there. Here’s the common courtesy of the restaurant because obviously Outback has no clue. Before taking a curbside order you need to inform the customer that the wait time could be almost an hour not the bold lie you choose to tell!

Me and my family were hungry and googled what to eat in Lumberton and settled with Outback. What a pleasurable experience, all the ladies were so nice and everything we ordered was literally cooked to perfection. I don’t do many reviews, but this place deserves it. Two thumbs up.

Prime rib sandwich was just full of gristle. Couldn’t take a bit without being able to chew it.
My bone in ribeye was hot but so dry. The Mac and cheese was spicy. Didn’t mention that on the menu. Hate hot spicy food. Awful.
Caesar salad was not tossed in its dressing like those type salads should. Wasnt good.
Bread was really all that was done right.
Not sure when Outback got so expensive. Two people, no alcohol with tip. Hundred bucks.
