Had the ribs combo with fajitas and sausage. Ribs tasted freezer burnt/old, maybe stay away from the specials. The rest of the food was good. Sausage was amazing. Quesa-birria app was my favorite. Had a hard time getting refills. Only received one fork for 5 of us eating the chocolate piñata. Waited 25 mins for the bill and to go cartons. Wasn’t very busy. Others around us arrived after us and left before. Maybe a new waiter? Chips didn’t taste fresh/homemade .

I normally give good feedback but this place on 12/29 for dinner with friends was a total disappointment. The only positive thing was the server Paris who was very busy but very helpful, the guacamole was amazing. They mishandled our orders in the beginning and everything was cold. The sauce was dry on the enchiladas, even the black beans were cold. I think the restaurant does not have enough staff. The manager gave us discount but did not meet the groups expectations in the experience.

I finally had the opportunity to visit this restaurant, and while it’s not strictly Mexican cuisine, I anticipated a Tex-Mex experience and was not disappointed. The food was enjoyable, and considering it falls into the Tex-Mex category, I would say it was among the best I’ve encountered.
The service was a bit on the slow side, likely due to our large group, which made communication a bit challenging at times. We missed out on a few items we ordered, but I have to commend the flavors—particularly the shrimp, which was perfectly seasoned, and the beans, which were deliciously rich and well-prepared.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience and genuinely enjoyed the meal. While I may not return immediately, I left with a favorable impression of the place.

Fresh tortilla chips ! Came out glistening every basket! The hibiscus margarita was so good with a sugar rim! I got the green chicken enchiladas.. Definitely not enough green chili sauce on top it only covered the middle. The cheese dip for the chips was great!

We were greeted and seated by Jose when we arrived. He was kind, courteous and provided outstanding service throughout our meal. We had the Padilla Tacos and Roberto’s Platter. The food was phenomenal! Large portions, fresh and delicious foods and drinks, clean environment and outstanding service were provided for our party of five. We usually go to the restaurant in Oakbrook, but this Naperville location is much better. This will be our new normal.

First time eating at Uncle Julio’s. We were welcomed by the manager as soon as our company was seated and he introduced himself (Ozzy) and made sure everything was great as he checked in with our table 3 times during our visit. Food was top notch and everything was served within a reasonably amount of time. We will definately be back! Thanks again Ozzy

Would absolutely eat here again. Food is phenomenal, margarita flight is fantastic, service was good despite being very busy, and though the queso looks a little sus because it’s runny, the flavor is excellent.
And O.M.G. the BEANS. I’ve never had anything like them.

If you cone here you MUST try the Quesa-birra appetizer. The crunchy cheese, melt-in-your-mouth birria, and the sauce are a mouth party like nothing else.

I came out to eat here for some lunch and it was amazing! Our server was Gina and she was so amazing! She was absolutely attentive and gave us GREAT recommendations for food/drinks. She was very friendly & made us feel so welcomed and that plays a big role. The food was absolutely amazing everything came out great, I will be returning back. Everyone ask for GINA if you want great customer service!!!
