Feels like more of a local spot, very casual. We came for the St. Martin Seafood Boil (serves 2) and it was exactly what we were looking for – freakin delicious! Plenty of crab (cooked perfectly), tons of large shrimp, & big helping of crawfish tails. Best crab butter I’ve ever had! Boyfriend didn’t like the potatoes but I loved them (reminded me of boiled peanuts in the best way?) Highly recommend if you’re looking for good crab in Gulf Shores!

I had the lunch special, grilled grouper with Caribbean rice & green beans. The food was excellent. It came out hot and seasoned perfectly. My waitress, Xavia, was so sweet and friendly! She gave excellent service. A beautiful kind-spirited young lady! I really like the Caribbean vibe at the Gulf Island Grill!

We had dinner there 4 different times and the food was wonderful. Had Shrimp Scampi and the Yaya. Both delicious. Steamed vegetables were perfect, The Parmesan Grouper and the Grouper Roulade are amazing also. Tahalia was our amazing server 2 times!

Jade was our server. She was such a delight. She suggested something I would never order. It was excellent. The “Ya Ya” was a great combination of shrimp, chicken, and veggies. My wife had Blackened Chicken Pasta. We both were stuffed. Plus we had leftovers. We will come back through the week. Ask for Jade, she will give you honest thoughts and suggestions on foods. She was a blessing!

Natalia was our server. She did a wonderful job. We were at The Gulf Island Grill during happy hour. They have a special menu to choose from. I chose the Bushwacker for my drink. You cannot go wrong with it! It includes ice cream, Kalhuah, rum, and chocolate…yummm. We then had the fried basket for our meal. The food was delicious. The fries has a special seasoning that made them extra delicious. The fish was very light as was the shrimp. We’ll be coming back to try more food and drink.

Slightly over priced. Flavor just wasn’t there food was just spiced (hot) no salt, no umami no bitter, no sweet. Service was poor at best. Not worth the trip. Will not be on my list for return visits.
