Such a great breakfast spot!
I came here with a friend for a breakfast date and we absolutely loved it. The Dog House has that warm, classic diner feel that makes you instantly comfortable. The service was friendly and fast, and the portions were generous — exactly what you want to start the day right.
Our meals were tasty, the coffee kept coming, and the overall vibe made the morning feel special. Definitely a must-try if you’re in Duncan and looking for a solid breakfast place. Highly recommended!

This place isn’t much to look at on the outside, but inside it’s such a cool little diner. Lots of booths to sit at. I went for dinner with friends and had a burger that had ham and bacon on it, I can’t remember the name of it, but I had it with a gluten free bun which was really good… the burger was the best burger I have had since I can remember. The lady helping us was super lovely, portions were big… Apparently the peanut butter pie is amazing… super cute place, lots of selection, good prices. I will definitely come back.

First, my family sat at a booth under the dirtiest lamps, crazy that people don’t see this a clean them.
That being said, kids had hot dogs, didn’t finnish them buns were dry and hot dogs sucked.
Wife had a chicken Cesar salad, didn’t Finnish it, flavourless.
She also had a Cesar to drink, tasted like they ran out of Clamato and used just tomato juice.
I had the cheese burger, and yup another swing and a miss, the patty is not made in house, flavourless, and disappointing.
Never again.

We had a great experience at Dog House! It has a very welcoming atmosphere and a family friendly vibe. The food is great too! They have quite a bit of good choices to pick from in their menu. They are most famous for their desserts!!

Fantastic service, lovely family friendly atmosphere, quick service, tasty and well portioned food, and an insanely big menu!! Mon-thurs features a $8 and $10 deals for ‘early bird breakfast’, amazing price. I would love to try the pies and dessert next time, they look phenomenal. Coffee was bottomless and breakfast that my boyfriend and I ordered was delicious. ‘nough said. 10/10

A favourite stop, when we go through Duncan. If you’re looking for trendy, this is not your place. It’s old school, super clean, friendly service and efficient service and yummy hearty food. We’ve had many a meal here and they are consistently good. Grab a dessert for the road – you won’t regret it.

One of the best gems on the island. The staff are amazing here. The food is incredible. Bigger portions and high quality. There is almost always a wait but its definitely worth it and not a long wait.
The deserts are locally famous. Don’t skip out on those. Even if you’re full from your big meal, get the dessert to go.
