From the moment I walk in, I’m greeted with warm smiles from the incredible wait staff. The owners, Brian and Khoa, go above and beyond to make every guest feel like family. Their passion for great food and hospitality shines through in every dish served.
Every dish is a flavor explosion, from the rich, comforting bowls of pho to the perfectly seasoned and grilled meats. You can taste the freshness and attention to detail in every bite. Whether I am craving a hearty meal or something light and refreshing, Saigon Bistro delivers every time.
One of the best parts? This restaurant handles both solo diners and groups with the same attention and care. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet meal alone or gathering with friends and family, the ambiance is just right, and the service remains top-notch.
If you haven’t been here yet, do yourself a favor and go and try one of my favorite dishes, Chilean Sea Bass. This is the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to—and recommending to everyone you know! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This place is a hole in the wall mom and pop shop. The food was the best authentic Vietnamese food I have ever had. The portions were BIG with a lot of protein and full egg rolls. The service was great as well! The servers were attentive and kind. I even got to meet the owner, Brian, and hear about his story behind opening the restaurant and his humble beginnings.
I was very impressed with everything and was even more ecstatic to hear they just opened another location in CHANTILLY since it’s closer to me!!!!
Would highly recommend and would definitely come back again!!!
Listen. I came here for dinner. I left here rethinking my entire life plan.
• Bún Bò Huế – Spicy, deep, and so good it made me text my ex just to brag. The broth had more layers than a Vietnamese family argument at Tết.
• Phở Nạm – Clean, beefy, balanced. If this bowl ran for president, I’d vote twice.
• Bún Bò Nướng – Grilled beef so perfectly charred it deserves its own OnlyFans. My daughter tried to “share” it with me. Not today, child.
The vibe? Chic, cozy, and blessedly free of those terrifying plastic chairs that squeak like they’re judging your weight.
The staff? Absolute gems. They didn’t even flinch when I asked for more herbs than should legally be allowed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
By the end, I was in a full food coma, smiling like someone just told me gas was under $3 again.
Final verdict: If you don’t eat here, you’re doing life wrong. Bring friends, bring stretchy pants, bring bail money in case someone tries to touch your spring roll.
The Calamari: Lightly battered and perfectly crispy, the calamari is a standout appetizer. Tossed with fresh sautéed peppers, onions, and a sprinkle of seasoning, it’s not only flavorful but also comes with a tangy dipping sauce that adds a delightful kick.
Lemongrass Beef Noodle Soup: This dish offers a perfect balance of savory and aromatic flavors. The rich broth, infused with lemongrass, delivers a depth of flavor that complements the tender slices of beef. It’s hearty, refreshing, and a great alternative if you’re looking to branch out from traditional pho.
Crab Fried Rice: Topped with a perfectly cooked fried egg and garnished with green onions, this dish is a hidden gem. The rice is fragrant and filled with generous chunks of real crab, making it a satisfying and indulgent option.
Saigon Bistro truly shines with its ability to offer both classic and creative Vietnamese dishes. Whether you’re a pho enthusiast or looking to explore more of Vietnam’s diverse cuisine, this is the place to indulge. Friendly service and a cozy ambiance only add to the appeal. Highly recommended for any food lover in the area!
had an absolutely wonderful experience dining here. The fresh food is top-notch, and I was particularly impressed by the free-range chicken soup, which was so comforting and flavorful. The salt and pepper calamari was also a standout—specially cooked with an incredibly fresh taste and a unique batter that was different from the traditional versions I’ve encountered elsewhere. But the real surprise for me was the beef banana salad—something I’ve never had before, and it blew my mind! The combination of flavors was incredible.
To top it off, the non-alcoholic watermelon drink with yogurt was so refreshing and delicious—unlike anything I’ve had before. The restaurant is conveniently located near Route 7, Herndon, and Hidden Brook, making it a perfect spot for locals. It’s only been open for 4 months, but I already know I’ll be a regular. I live just 5 minutes away and love Vietnamese food, so this was a much-needed addition to the neighborhood.
The chef and co-owner, Khoa, personally came by our table, which made the experience even more special. Brian, his partner, along with the rest of the staff, were attentive, kind, and made our visit memorable. I genuinely wish them the best and hope they continue using such fresh ingredients. I’ll definitely be back soon!
