My husband took me here for valentines day. It was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed a bottle of Cambria wine on the patio during the sunset. The music they played was some of our favorites and brought back lots of feel-good memories. The food was fantastic and we shared a couple appetizers. We shared the garlic bread, luau crap dip, and ahi spring rolls. My husband ordered the prime rib and I ordered the calamari pappardelle. Everything was delicious and perfectly made. I can’t wait to come back!

Excellent food, great service, the fly fans did work to an extent but they were still flying around. Great views with the doors open to the ocean. Was pretty popular when we got there for early dinner. For table of 5 our bill was around $280. Well worth the higher cost of a traditional restaurant.

So glad I ran into the manager walking his dog on the beach, this place is amazing! The food is delicious. Portions are great sized. The service is spectacular. Such a lovely restaurant. We will most definitely be going back very soon.

We’ve been having our special meals here for 20+ years. Not a lot has changed, and I mean that in a good way. Fresh ingredients, cooked well, and served by a kind north shore vibe staff. Everyone seems like they just keep in from a great day on the beach. You don’t need wear formal clothes, but it’s definitely classier than just about anywhere else on north shore. Only disappointment was the dessert. I’m pretty sure the baby cake used to a lava cake with chocolate that would ooze out. I haven’t gotten it in many years, but it’s just a regular cake now. Still good but not amazing.

I’m proud to report that we executed the perfect tactical maneuver: we arrived early and successfully annihilated the queue. This is crucial intelligence for anyone planning a visit, because the reward is the chance to eat this spectacular food.

The Kalbi is deeply delicious a highly recommended experience that should be legally mandatory. But the real star is the atmosphere: sitting on the patio, watching the boats gently glide by as the waves crash in the distance, makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto the set of a very expensive, very romantic film.

The staff were friendly and clearly pleased that we had secured such a flawless evening. Five stars to the restaurant, and five stars to my husband for successfully assembling this date night. He gets a rare 10/10 for excellent initiative and choosing a place that makes our life look perfect!

Swung by Haleiwa Joe’s while traveling to some other tourist stops in the area. The views were for sure the highlight of our lunch – we got seated outside and loved the vibes. The food we had was all perfectly fine, if a bit bland. Nice lunch overall.

First time going even though the weather was gloomy it was still nice. I just had the chowder soup and salad. Husband had the prime rib but only got a picture of this delicious dessert. The Brussels sprouts are a must.

I had been to the Haiku Gardens the night before and enjoyed it so much I decided to try this location since I was on the North Shore. It was slightly disappointing. My coconut shrimp appetizer tasted mushy and off which was the opposite of the ones from the night before. The main I ordered was actually quite good it was the fried whole fish but not for the faint of heart as the bones were a little daunting. Sauce for the fish was ordered on the side which was nice as it kept the fish crispy. The most disappointing part was dessert, the chocolate mousse was not good at all, it was too soft and just tasted old. I felt a little ignored and the ambiance was lacking. Some hits and misses here.

From the hostess to the bartender to our waiter … our dinner experience was wonderful! The food was absolutely delicious – there wasn’t a single bite left on any of the plates! We ordered the ahi tuna spring rolls (would totally drive the hour and a half for these again tonight, SO GOOD!) and for our entrees we ordered the grilled fish (which was blue marlin) and the sticky ribs. Absolutely delicious and the perfect choices for surf + turf! Even the starter bread … so warm and soft. I also had two of the spicy cucumber margaritas … so yummy. This was definitely our favorite meal while in Oahu! Thank you, Haleiwa Joes!

Eric our server was the best. It’s servers like him that make the hospitality of the experience we had memorable. He knew the menu like the back of his hand and gave everything a truly spectacular description. The staff brought everything out at the same time – Amazing team work. Was not expecting that 5 Star Level of service and it matched the level of flavor of the entrees served. If I could give Eric and crew 10 stars I would.
