A mini French course! You can enjoy a 3-course menu and wine at reasonable prices. The owner and waiter were very nice. It is a great place to talk with friends and enjoy a cozy meal and atmosphere!

From the moment we arrived and were warmly greeted, we sensed this was going to be a lovely experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant was delight. Cosy and intimate, yet with enough space so we didn’t feel like we were on top of others. It was quiet enough to have a conversation. The food was absolutely amazing. The perfect steak, excellent chips, very tasty vegetables, and desserts that left our tastebuds singing!
The waitress was friendly and attentive. The chef – well, he catered for dietary requirements with little notice on a Sunday brilliantly. Cannot fault either the food or service: 10/10. A wonderful restaurant to celebrate a life milestone. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Comfy unpretentious restaurant with fair price. A rare gem nowadays. Our dog would also give a glowing review; he received some steak from the chef that looked like it’s made especially for him. So sweet! It was not our first time and we’ll be back.

Not our first time!! Great food — we had duck pâté, boeuf bourguignon, and the cheese platter. We left full and happily tipsy after the house red and French port.
The service was, as always, lovely. It was nice to see the same waitress from last time, and the chef came to our table for a chat, which made the whole experience even cozier.

I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday, something like a small quiet authentic restaurant and by chance I saw this restaurant and now it’s my favourite restaurant in The Hague, I’m looking forward to next month to try the new menu. In addition to the food, this restaurant attracts with its staff, the waitress skilfully explained the menu, told about each dish and recommended wine to it (she also pronounces French names of dishes very well), a wonderful chef who knows his business and cooks perfectly. The design of the restaurant is very couthy and charming in the French style. If you live in The Hague, you should visit this restaurant at least once. It was great to get compliments after dinner)

Loved this restaurant! Food was simple, yet each course was delicious and made with passion. The French wine was also perfect. The service from the young waitress and the owner was friendly; attentive and professional. Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

Yesterday, when my girlfriend and I walked past La Salle, we decided to go in just because we were hungry and didn’t really want to spend too much time looking for a nice restaurant, but man, we did not expect such a good experience.
First of all, the food was just amazing and the service was also very lovely. Our expectations were not high because nowadays everywhere is quite expensive and for the 3-course menu we only paid 30 euros per person, which is very reasonable. You feel like the value you get for your money couldn’t get any higher. When we got our dinner, the chef came over and asked if we knew what vegetables were on our plate. What followed was a nice conversation about the harvesting and preparation process of vegetables that we had never heard of and that tasted amazing.
I often make my own creme brûlée, but mine wasn’t even close to the one I’ve eaten here. As we were leaving the chef came over to say goodbye and I mentioned this to the chef. He immediately told me how he makes his creme brûlée and instructed me on how to improve my recipe. We left with such joy!
We are from Rotterdam and are definitely going to visit The Hague more often now just to eat at La Salle again.

I was never disappointed here. Simple menu, personal touch, a gem in The Hague. Traditional French cuisine. The menu changes monthly, so rating that is a bit useless. However, the setup is quite constant: a choice of three starters, three main courses and either a cheese plate or grand dessert for, well, dessert. There’s always something vegegatarian option as well. No special kids options on the menu but maybe you should just ask what’s possible.
