Absolutely delicious. The char on the ribeye was . Steak was cooked well along with the shrimp. Loaded baked potato was good as well. Excellent experience and will be back. Side note, my drink never got below half full which was much appreciated.

Carol was an absolute gem! She’s a no bullshit kinda woman and cares about you getting good service. I got the 14oz ribeye(absolutely fantastically, the flavor was 10/10, and it cut like butter) the works potato (huge, delicious, self explanatory)

The food was very good but the wait time is terrible after being seated. A very tight and vintage atmosphere. Our table was extremely small and there was no one really making sure our table stayed free of empty plates and/or drinks, considering. After our waitress bragged about having 2 of the best bartenders in town, she brought me a “Frozen” strawberry margarita that was NOT so frozen but was more like a runny slushy that i had to send back. It was terrible. I would give another location a try though before I can completely agree with 5 star rating for this place.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and it’s sad to see how far downhill things have gone. The waitress never offered another drink, never brought the two waters I asked for, dropped my steak knife and didn’t replace it, and charged me $6.45 for vegetables when I wanted those as a substitute for the potatoe. She never once checked on our table to even see if we needed another drink. Thankfully, the busser refilled my daughter’s glass — otherwise, she wouldn’t have gotten one at all. Very disappointing service at a place I’ve always loved. The food was sub-par as well. The house dressing was tasteless, lacking the distinct lemon flavor it’s known for all these years. Really disappointed in service and quality of food. Definitely did not live up the norm.

We came in without reservations with a large group after a volleyball tournament. The manager was amazing and very accommodating. Our waitress who did an amazing job along with the young gentleman who kept refilling our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place. The chicken tenders and the burger were amazing.

I ordered a salad and a loaded baked sweet potato I wouldn’t have received my salad unless I asked as our server didn’t bring mine out with the others because I had additional toppings. Also my baked sweet potato was extremely small. I don’t think it was the size of a russet potato. Another lady had one also snd her’s was E larger. I couldn’t send it back because I was with a group on a bus from our apartments and didn’t have thr time. Even my salad was a disappointment. I did order a regular salad but it was only lettuce. red onion, cheese and 1 lonely cherry tomato. I doubt if I would return if all the salads that are supposed to be meals are as small as mine. It wasn’t much bigger or better than the side salad others received with their lunch

Been awhile since our last visit which was great thus the reason we made the choice. No wait to be seated but while being seated waitress told everyone she was very busy and to be patient. Short wait and our order was taken and drinks delivered. Numerous apologies by waitress made to entire room. I ordered a strip steak med/well (I know) and wife ordered medium. After a short wait server informed us that since I ordered m/w the wait would be a few more minutes. Really? Steaks arrived and mine was medium which was fine and wife’s was well done. She sent it back and I ate a few bites of mine while waiting for hers to arrive. Felt bad and wasn’t going to eat while wife waited. Her 2nd arrived even more well done than the first and was immediately sent back. Different server said he’d go back and make sure it was done right. I’d given up by then and asked for a box to take mine home for the dogs. Her third arrived and guess what just as well as other two. Got more apologies and another box Don’t know what happened or why but jeez people get it together. This is why people should go to Twisted Tree. Was my first choice but another half hour down the road for us. Needless to say won’t be back here. Also table next to us said their experience was similar as they were leaving. Zero stars!!!

Our server was Ok, he didn’t say anything other then taking our order … The gal watching closely over our table was very good, she was extremely attentive & we really appreciated it… 0ur food was absolutely delicious, I had the pork chop meal, the other three in my group got either hamburgers or the steak sandwich… They all said they liked their meals a lot … We got two orders of potato skins & they couldn’t of been any better!

Tucker’s Place South – Great Food, Even Better Service!
I had a great experience dining at Tucker’s Place South! My server, Olivia, was truly a highlight of the evening. Funny enough, my daughter’s name is also Olivia, so we instantly made a sweet little connection. From start to finish, she made sure we were taken care of without us ever needing to ask for much—attentive, warm, and full of hospitality. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests.
I ordered the ribeye steak with their signature Tucker’s Glaze (chef’s kiss ), a loaded baked potato, and a Caesar salad. I also added the grilled shrimp. Everything was cooked beautifully and came out flavorful and filling—I definitely had enough to bring home. The food overall was really good and definitely worth the visit.
Now, the only reason I didn’t give this a full five stars is because of the atmosphere. It was very loud, and the seating felt a little too close for comfort. It was busy (which is a good sign!), but the layout made it feel a bit cramped. Also worth noting—they do not seat incomplete parties, so be sure everyone arrives together if you’re dining as a group.
All in all, Tucker’s Place South delivered solid food and exceptional service. I’d definitely go back—and I’ll be asking for Olivia again!
