Nestled in the heart of the countryside, this charming restaurant is a delightful haven for locals and visitors alike. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy ambiance that makes you feel welcomed. The staff were super friendly. As you explore you’ll be greeted by witty quotes on the walls. Overall, this place promises a delightful escape into the heart of the community. Having said that, I wish the fried platter wasn’t too dry and the oil flavor wasn’t too overpowering.

It’s a country cafe atmosphere. The staff was welcoming. I ordered over the phone and the food was ready by the time I arrived in maybe 10 minutes tops. I had a cheeseburger, order of cheese fries, and an order of onion rings. Everything was good. I’ll come back when I’m in the area.

Drive up was not appealing but the reviews brought us in anyway. The inside is much more attractive. I had the chicken fried steak and Diane had the much recommended shrimp. The chicken fried steak was very good. Tender and just the right size steak, hand breaded and tasty. The shrimp was also handbreaded and very tender. Overall it was great except for one thing. With all the handmade food they serve instant mashed potatoes. Yuck! That is a true culinary crime. Change that and you’ve got a great diner.

Just traveling through and came across this local cafe. Ordered two bacon cheeseburgers and fries, the food was good and with big portions. The inside was a cozy old western vibe. And the service was fast and efficient. Definitely recommend.

Small town atmosphere. Six of us met there to reminisce about playing fast pitch together in the 70s and 80s and wining the State Tournament in 1983.
