I came to Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen to have lunch. This place is spacious and has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Once I was seated and looked over the menu, I ordered a drink and the meatloaf, which was served with two sides: steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes.
Before the food arrived, the server brought over a plate of honey butter croissants. OMG, these croissants were absolutely delicious! So warm, soft, and flaky–the honey butter drizzle was chef’s kiss.
The deliciousness continued with the meatloaf, which was moist, perfectly cooked, and covered in a rich, flavorful gravy; complemented by the tender broccoli and creamy mashed potatoes. This was comfort food at its best. My drink (Tito’s & cranberry) was delightful and well-balanced. If I wasn’t so stuffed, I would have ordered another one.
If you want to experience a variety of American comfort food with all day, every day happy hour at budget friendly prices, then I highly recommend Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen.

We do like this chain and do not have one in the area where we live. There were four of us. Two with steaks. I had the Monte Christo sandwich. All delicious. Our server was exceptionally nice. She spend time talking to us.

I love this restaurant, super affordable and the food tastes great. I always visit when there is one in the area. I recently visited the one in Kissimmee and our waiter Santiago offered superior service. Great job Santiago. Upper Marlboro, Charlotte, Kissimmee, Orlando. They never disappoint. The star of the show is the croissant with drizzled butter on it. I always get an extra one. Please don’t change

Tried here for the first time, we were not disappointed. Great food, well portioned, good selection, very tasty. Host and servers were so attentive but not pushy, the food came out very quickly, we only waited a handful of minutes from ordering to eating. Interactions between staff created a great atmosphere, very friendly and polite helping each other out. Price was also great 2 mains, 2 sides and a sharing dessert with 2 drinks all under 50 dollars. Could not fault the experience, would highly recommend!!

This is our second time eating here and it’s been actually very good. First time had the chicken pot pie which was excellent. This time I had the fish and fried shrimp and again it was really good and I’ll tell you the price of that is like about $17. That’s better than just about anything out there I’ve seen. Now the thing you got to realize they’re not huge portions but you’re also not getting stiffed portions. I mean for a group of us last last night, three of us. In fact it came out to just under $80 and I mean that’s pretty good. We’ve got some similar places. We got the 99 up here in New England. We’ve also got Applebee’s which I think everybody knows about. This is far better than Applebee’s the ribs which I’m not a fan of ribs unfortunately, but my other half had those the other time you were here and you liked them. He said they were really good. So I mean you guys really have some good stuff going there.

Have visited several locations across several states and for some reason, this location was just “off” food wise.
The service was great, however the food wasn’t nearly as good as other locations, and being served after sitting certainly didn’t help.

Excellent. The food was great, our service was prompt, and the restaurant was clean. I had the bourbon glazed grilled salmon and shrimp, the salmon was very tender and the taste was perfect. The starter croissants were very soft and tasty. I really liked the cheese broccoli casserole also. I finished with the carrot cake and oh my was it delicious! The “pain killer” drink is fantastic I now see why there is a limit of 2 lol. Definitely recommend I think they are underrated.

Wonderful Dining Experience – Worth the Wait!
This restaurant “Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen” was recommended by our son, and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious, and although we had to wait a little while, it was well worth it. Everything is made from scratch, so the extra time is understandable.
The pastry served before dinner was out of this world—warm, buttery, soft, and with just a hint of sweetness. A real treat!
Our only small complaint was the limited table setup—they only provide a set of plastic utensils and a single small napkin. When we asked our waitress, she kindly brought us some wet towelettes, which helped. It would be a nice touch to have those available at the table by default.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return when we’re in the area again. This is truly a great spot!

Came for dinner. I was impressed at how affordable it was for the area. Cocktails for 9 bucks is nice considering Disney and Universal are usually 20 plus frequently.
The food was comfort food. I had thr meatloaf with mashed potatoes and the broccoli cheese casserole. My first bite was beefy. My daughter said her pork chops were juicy and seasoned well. My wife had the salmon and shrimp and my son has the spasanya.
Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I can’t believe we haven’t been here up till now. We will be back for home cooked syle meals
