My only “criticism” is of the dessert I ordered (Flan Catalán), which was tasty but had a strange taste. I don’t know how this particular dessert is prepared or stored, but I noticed a distinct taste while I was eating it and when I identified it, I couldn’t eat any more. The flán tasted very strongly of jamon. I looked on the menu and it didn’t say whether this was intentional or not.

The food was good overall, but the main downside was the wait time. Drinks arrived very quickly, however we waited over 30 minutes for the Paella Salvaje after receiving our last tapas, which felt quite long. I wish we had been informed in advance that the paella would take that much time.
Service was fine overall, but it noticeably improved when the gentleman in the white sweater came by to check on us and help recommend dessert options. From the moment he approached our table, he brought a very welcoming energy that truly changed the atmosphere and enhanced our experience.

I spent 4 months in Barcelona Spain in 2022 and since then I’ve been looking for authentic Spanish tapas and I can confirm this is the place to go for that! Tapas are sharable appetizers, allowing you to try many different dishes. Our waiter was friendly and fun! The ambience is warm and rustic. A great place to get with friends! I recommend the patatas fritas!

Barcelona is one of my favorite restaurants. Technically it’s a chain, but the service is like that of a high end restaurant, always top notch. The food is always wonderful. My absolute favorite is the olive oil cake for dessert. We came last Saturday to celebrate my birthday. Had a hiccup with one of our tapas being super delayed, which wasn’t a big deal as we were already getting full and needed space for dessert! The manager still pulled out all the stops to make it right and make our night memorable. That’s service!

I cant say enough good things about this place! We were visiting boston for a few days and we went in on our first night, Catherine, bartender, welcomed us with a smiled and explained the menu so patiently! My friend doesnt drink alcohol but Catherine was quick to mix a great mocktail for her… we were well taken care of all night. The drinks and food were delicious and the atmosphere felt perfect. The playlist they had that night was 10/10. We wanted to go back again during our visit but they werent enough days to make it back. I cant wait to go back and visit this place again, also great bathroom as well hehe the decor of the place and the art on the walls is just great. See you guys soon!!
