Took my wife here for brunch on her birthday. I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time but it’s always been busy.
We were immediately sat on a Wednesday morning. I will have to say that I understand the hype surrounding this place.
The food was amazing. My wife ordered the bravacado and I had the lieutenant Dan omelette.
I will definitely be coming back.

Got there at 7:30 am today (Saturday) and there was no one at the restaurant. The host said during off peak season, it’s not as busy. I had the big farm truck dish and a hot Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte. Both were amazing. The service was great from the valet parking to the waitress, everyone was super nice. I will definitely return soon to try another dish and coffee.
I also got two cinnamon rolls to go and they are HUGE.

Unfortunately, did not live up to the hype. I’ve been wanting to go ever since I moved here, and it was underwhelming. We went on a Saturday morning – got there around 10:30am, seated by 11am. The food took an hour to come out, and came out below lukewarm at best. The best part of brunch was the cinnamon roll (came out quickly), which shouldn’t be the case considering this is a restaurant not a bakery. Our service was also lackluster. Outside ambience while waiting is very nice, however that and the cinnamon roll are the only positive things to our whole experience. I ordered the JJ’s eggs Benedict, and the ham was unbelievably salty. Both benedicts were just okay, we have had better especially for the price. Between the busyness, service, and less than great food, I don’t think it’s worth it to come back.

Amazing atmosphere. Excellent servers too! The farmhouse burrito was ok but not great. Cheese grits were yummy. A little cold and charred.

Highly recommend this restaurant! Have heard so much about it and finally drove 1 1/2 to check it out. Sooooo worth the drive!! I had the Spicy Smokehouse Pork Omelet and it was amazing! I will definitely br making that drive again to try something else on their menu. Everything looked so good, it was very hard to choose just one. Suggestion: bring others with you, all get different meals and try a little of each. Their Latte and Mimosa Flights were really good as well! When you go, don’t bee in a hurry and check out their outdoor seating as well. Firepits for the chilly days and a cart with games as well. Outside Coffee Bar too. Parking is Valet only. Definitely find the time to check it out.

Apparently there are in-season and out-of-season times to eat here. I went out-of-season (it was cold) and on a weekday. Still had to valet park, but no line when I went there.
Breakfast was… fabulous. The biscuits are more cake-like than the biscuits I’m used to, so I’m still not sure about them. But other than that, everything tasted really good. And I went for the most basic item on the menu (blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon, cheese grits) and it still tasted like… one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. And I love breakfast.
Will go back next time I’m in the area.

I randomly found this place online while visiting VA beach with 3 other couples. It had great reviews. It was still packed although it was pouring raining we waited about 40 minutes for a table. It was well worth the food. The staff was friendly and the food was pretty good the steak was well cooked but basic in flavor. The biscuits were delicious. BUT the mimosa flight was the best. I thought it was super cute they had a coffee flight as well. We enjoyed ourselves.

Only valet parking. Wait time estimated was 1.5 hours for 5 people, but only needed up being 45 min off season. Waited a long time once ordered for food. Overall poor presentation and taste. Biscuits are dry. Steak was raw. Potato wedges undercooked and no flavor. Cinnamon rolls are made ahead of time and just taste like powdered sugar. Coffee is burnt. Whole place is overrated. Good if you want to just sit with friends and chit chat for hours, but not a good restaurant. Will never come again. The Egg Bistro is much better.

Good, but not great. This review doesn’t carry much weight given this place will always have a ridiculous wait time and hundreds of patrons daily. But I prefer an honest review and like to be informed! The atmosphere is nice (outside) which is great because you’ll be waiting outside for 1 to 2 hours before a table is ready. The valet parking is kind of silly given the location is in the middle of Pungo, VB, and they’re parking you on a lawn or gravel lot. However, it’s semi-necessary given the amount of diners and the lack of parking skills many of them have. While waiting, you can order hot beverages or bar drinks. $4 for 1 hot chocolate in a paper cup without any of “the works” is a bit much in my opinion, given you pay $5 inside for 1 hot chocolate in a glass with toppings. The staff are all very friendly and patient, brunch service truly brings out some of the most obnoxious people, so I greatly appreciate them all. The food is okay. After waiting for an hour (just for 2 guests), you want the food to be spectacular. It was not. Our server was kind enough to offer a substitution, and she was knowledgeable on the menu options. The Bee & The Biscuit will continue to thrive, simply because word of mouth is very powerful, but I hope to see an expansion in many different aspects. Cheers!

Mom and I had the best breakfast here! Some many places get their grits wrong, but this place crushed it. They have valet parking when you get there and a cute little hostess hut when you walk up.
The coffe and omelets are fantastic! And I couldn’t ask for better service. I can’t wait to come back for round 2!!
