I ordered delivery – thank God they went from.cash only to delivery. I LOVE their cheese steak – ALWAYS order double meat – otherwise it is not worth it. But this is the authentic Philly cheese steak – it is on Jim’s level (South street).but Steve’s had better quaility meat. However they are a bit hit or miss with on being meaty enough. Raise the price, we would pay it. But double meat is worth it. PATS, Genos Jim’s pale in comparison- when you go.double meat. Sure Angelo’s is the best in the city but not authetic and Steve’s prices as authentic.

Usually come to get our steaks here as a family before taking the 20 minute drive we made sure to check if it was open at this time. It said they close at 11 got here at 10:09 and they stated that it was closed. They need to update their schedule

Stopped in for lunch after hearing a few recommendations. The service was friendly and the place had a relaxed atmosphere, which was nice. The steak was cooked how I ordered, but the flavor was just okay. Sides were average too. Overall, it was a decent lunch spot, but nothing that really stood out. I might go back if I’m nearby, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

The cheese steak here is one of the fanciest ones I’ve had. That being said, it was dry, lacked volume and was unfortunately underwhelming. Nothing wrong here but so many better places to go to get your fill.

I haven’t been to this location in 15 years and the quality and customer service is still top notch. I had lunch with a HS friend and he’s big on the whiz and they made him a steak with half white and half yellow whiz. He loved his steak so much that he ordered another one with just white whiz. The white whiz fries were delish and they didn’t skimp on the whiz on both of our steaks. It was definitely worth the drive to NE Philly and wouldn’t mind making another visit although I must admit the prices are more bloated these days.

Great cheese steak far better that the ones in downtown Philadelphia. The meat was moist and flavorful and smothered in hot cheese wiz. The sandwiches are big and can be shared by two people. The French fries where crisp even though they where covered in hot gooie cheese. We ordered Steve’s cherry soda and was the best cherry soda I’ve had even beats out the famous Cheerwine. I highly recommend this place it across from Reedman/ Toll car dealership

I visit relatives nearby about once a year, and I always figure out how I can grab a cheesesteak from Steve’s. They offer great authentic style steak sandwiches and perfectly done fries. There is no table service. You order at the counter. There are a few tables outside and a counter inside where you can enjoy your meal. I highly recommend Steve’s if you’re looking for a genuine Philly steak experience.

My chicken cheesesteak was very good. Bread was delicious. It was missing something…not sure what, but it lacked some flavour. Same for the steak one that my husband hand. Giving it a 4 because their fries are excellent, both plain and cheese fries.
