My last Restaurant Week pick done RIGHT at Nino’s!

I started off with that melt in your mouth Caesar carpaccio (raw ribeye but make it fancy) and those crispy crab arancini with the rich smoked tomato hollandaise; straight flavor bombs.

For the main, the squid ink spaghetti with shrimp + jalapeño pesto was DIFFERENT in the best way!
And that veal milanese over red wine risotto? Crispy, tender, and packed with flavor every bite.

Dessert sealed the deal!
King Cake panna cotta with orange curd was smooth, creamy, and perfect for Mardi Gras season.
Plus that mascarpone cheesecake was light, rich, and straight dangerous.

$62 for this whole experience during Restaurant Week is a STEAL!

We came in last night for our anniversary dinner and it was divine!
We got the ricotta appetizer, and my husband got the steak (which was PERFECTION) and I got the ravioli, and I won’t stop thinking about it for a really long time!
We were treated with two glasses of champagne and that was so thoughtful.
We will definitely be back! Thank you so much to the whole staff who made our night so special!

This was my first time eating at Nino’s on Bluebonnet. The atmosphere was very nice, casual and eloquently decorated. The Pasta Bolognese was great and my friend thought the Chicken Parmesan sandwich was great as well. Our server was very friendly and did a very good job. A nice place to dine.

Very sophisticated delicious flavors. Excellent waiter, well informed and made the dining experience a delight. The free bread and oil was nice, then the appetizer was great. The soup sounded odd but somehow the combination of items became a magical dance for the tastebuds. My entree was so good I wish I had more. Desert was outstanding especially the lemon curd thing with a fruit sauce .

What a fabulous meal! I had the Lombardi and my husband had the steak. Both were exceptional. Love how quaint the restaurant was. Service was excellent thanks to Mac and would definitely recommend!

We visited Nino’s for the first time to celebrate our granddaughter’s birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was charming—small, intimate, and inviting. Our table enjoyed the Bolognese, Puttanesca, and Chicken Scallopini. The Bolognese featured a light red sauce with perfectly seasoned meat, while the Puttanesca was bright and savory, highlighted by a touch of spice from the Italian sausage, along with briny capers and olives. The Chicken Scallopini was a standout—tender, juicy chicken in a light cream sauce with a delightful blend of seasonings. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles, and the service was attentive and flawless. Nino’s has quickly earned a spot as one of our favorite Italian restaurants.

Easily the best Italian restaurant in Baton Rouge. Had the arancini, arugula and pear salad, Lombardi, and gnocchi in rustico sauce, panna cotta, and oat meal chocolate chip cookies. Gnocchi was a little under done but everything tasted amazing. The bartender makes a mean cocktail as well. One of new favorite spots.

Finally, authentic Italian cuisine!
Being partly Italian, I’ve always had to wait for my next trip home to visit family just to truly enjoy great food. Now, I can finally experience it right at my doorstep.

I had the Pasta Rustico with delicate porcini mushrooms – absolutely divine. Every bite felt thoughtful and comforting, the kind of dish that instantly takes you back home.

I’m so happy to have found such a heart-warming place, made even better by genuinely great service. This restaurant is a true gem.

My family has been intending to go to Nino’s for years. We’ve always heard great things about it from several people. Finally, one day after Saturday afternoon mass, we went. And it was AMAZING! From the atmosphere, to the drinks, food and service. Everything was excellent. Even on a random Saturday night after New Year’s.

PJ was our waitress. From her food recommendations, wine pairing and general overall service, she was absolutely fantastic.
