We are SO HAPPY AND FULL! Had lunch there and made sure to order take out before we left. Stopped here because of the reviews we read on google and we weren’t disappointed. So worth the trip!
Gluten free options are available which is why we picked this place. Ask your waitress and she’ll let you know if your selection can be made GF. Service is great. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Will be coming back!

Good food. The atmosphere is not that great. The one female manager is very unprofessional. Also they put a million staples on their to go orders. I cut my hand pretty good trying to open the packaging.

My wife and I have been ordering sushi from Golden Wok pretty regularly for about a year and have always been very happy with the food. It always takes longer to prepare than the website might suggest, but it is worth it every time. The flavor it great, the takeout presentation is always wonderful and the staff has always been friendly.

Having tried the bigger Asian takeout places in the area like Ichiban, Samurai and the The Tasty Bowl, all I have to say is that Golden Wok has them all beat.
Their food is priced lower and to me tastes much better.
Best deals are between 11am-3pm (lunch specials) and their sushi is the best in the area.
Other people have had long wait times, but for the couple of years
that I’ve been coming here I have yet to experience anything negative.
They are the best in Erie, hands down, simple as that.

The food was Excellent!!!
My family and I enjoyed the fried rice, curry chicken, sweet’n sour chicken, beef Lomein, and seafood mix. They have The Best Crab Rangoons we’ve ever had. We also enjoyed a shrimp tempura roll that was ordered to go.
Drink refills kept coming, we also enjoyed tea with our dinner .
Service was great and atmosphere was friendly and clean.

Based on the reviews, I tried to go somewhere else. This was the only place open and it did not disappoint. I got takeout. The portions size is pretty great. One dinner item can make 2-3 meals for one person. The flavor of the orange beef was fresh, crispy and tender. The mango chicken was a bit too saucy, but I’m not mad at more flavor. The chicken mei fun was fresh with a hint of smoke. All in all- definitely glad I’ll have leftovers for the next few days.

The food was typical from there. I miss Golden Wok from years ago when the register was over closer to the door and you didn’t have constant foot traffic through the dining room while you’re eating and the food was much more flavorful. My biggest annoyances beyond the foot traffic from take out was the constant door alarm that would ding and say front door every time th door opened and the Chinese woman who works there and that is so mean. At one point she was slapping her child who was helping work there in the face behind the register, then was arguing with an employee admit how to do a gift card and then at one point could hear her arguing in the kitchen with others. Kind of made it not an enjoyable eating environment. If your going to offer in house eating then make it also enjoyable for those customers.

My family and I ordered from here for the first time tonight for delivery. We were starving: We ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp , hibachi chicken, crab Rangoon and fried dumplings. Everything was extremely bland, even the ginger dressing for the salad was bland. Idk how ginger could be bland? We didn’t finish anything, not even half. Waste of money: they are very nice people though.
