SHOKU is a truly unique spot, earning high marks for its memorable atmosphere and charm. The interesting interior design is a standout feature, making for a distinctive dining experience. The most remarkable element, however, is undoubtedly the restaurant’s resident dog, who adds an unparalleled, delightful character to the venue. Unfortunately, the dining experience doesn’t fully match the ambiance, as the dishes were not very tasty. While the food was a letdown, the charming setting and the canine host make it a 4/5 destination for a unique night out.

A delightful little place, my first time here its a bit on the pricy side. The staff is friendly and welcoming we deopped in for a quick lunch witjout a reservation. Had the karaage chicken (tastes like in japan!) And two ramens. The spicy one was good not great not superb. Just good. But the shoyu ramen had a very weak broth, more akin to a very weak chicken stock. So it was more akin to shio ramen but if you forgot to salt it… and the chicen meat felt like dried chicke breast that was steam cooked. But the noodles were great!! And the drinks were pretty good to!

Great mains, the quality is great. Very weak deserts (they serve only some weird creams). The biggest con – they don’t serve free water – it should be a standard nowadays. Good cocktails and great winter hot tea. There is only one bathroom for the whole restaurant without warm water. In general- it’s a nice place but there things that could be easily improved to make it great.

Delightful little Ramen spot. There was a busy crowd of people all night and service was prompt.
All the food was great, especially the cheesecake. A wonderful treat after a busy day!
Personally also a big fan of the owner’s dog coming to say hello after I’d finished eating too; they are definitely dog friendly.

I didn’t have many chances to try Japanese cuisine except for sushi.
I have tried pretty much all main dishes, and all of them were super tasty. I am a fan of spicy food. Therefore, my favorite hoice was Tantan Ramen.
The eggplant is the choice when you start off, delicious. I suggest you share it with friends, otherwise might be full eating just that 🙂
For the dessert, try the Jasmine cheesecake, absolute poetry in mouth !
