Tee Jaye’s Country Place is a popular Columbus, Ohio-based restaurant known for its classic diner-style food and friendly service. Its a combination of highlighting the “old-fashioned home cooking” and “cozy, hometown charm”. The staff is always welcoming, smiling and attentive. For us the restaurant feels like a “local hangout” with a “cozy, hometown charm”. It has especially “great food” and “giant portions”. Some of our favorites are specific dishes like the Barnyard Buster piled high with biscuits, gravy, home fries, eggs and cornmeal pancakes. Not only does Tee Jaye’s offer good food, big portions, friendly service but its at a fair price too.

I grew up in columbus, ohio. One of my favorite places is Teejays for their barnyard buster. I don’t live there anymore but when I get to come its always great food with a great atmosphere. Thank you.

TJs was very accommodating for our large group on short notice. The wait staff was very friendly, professional, and flexible.
Most of our party ordered breakfast, and all seemed happy.
My roast beef was an odd mix of roast beef chum and what seemed like lunch meat.
It tasted ok, was just a little odd texture.
I would gladly take a group again.

Food was exactly what I expected, I had a hot chocolate and strawberry cheesecake French toast. Both my beverage and meal were good and came out pretty fast. Our waitress didn’t mess up our order at all, which is always a plus. Their parking has lots of pot holes on the one side, so just be careful when choosing where to park. Overall I had a good experience and would recommend this place to anyone. They may not have as big of a menu as Bob Evans, but I was able to get something I enjoyed better than what I would’ve gotten there.

My friends and I ordered a large meal for about 8 people last night (Jan 2nd) and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this restaurant! We spend almost $100 on a large meal and first off every container in one of the two bags were COVERED in gravy! That’s forgivable, but the 3 barnyard busters we got had biscuits that were already crushed up and floating in an enormous amount of gravy that spilled onto every other container in the bag! THEN THE HUMAN HAIRS IN THE EGGS WAS A DEAL BREAKER!. Also, we called to order and their phone was busy all night. we had to drive up there to order…and the staff was not too friendly either. Our friends who picked up this hairy meal said the staff acted like they were mad we ordered so much food…WOW. I’ve eaten here since the 1980s…Oh how the mighty have fallen! I RECOMMEND BOB EVANS OR HANGOVER EASY FOR BREAKFAST FOODS!

The manager seated us and was nice. Jessica, our server, was on top of everything. She even brought us water with our coffee without us having to ask. The food was delicious and filling. I ordered the chicken and waffles. They have both Franks hot sauce and Tabasco sauce. I got the spinach omelette with hash browns and toast to go. We will be back for more good breakfasts

3rd time in a row I’ve ordered from them for pickup and got no utensils. Don’t get me wrong I love eating there but when your at work n you go to eat your food but can’t because you have nothing to eat it with! Kinda gets annoying

Okay so I ordered a DoorDash. And the manager literally said well the dasher was here but we already handed it out. And then proceeded to blame uber and gave 0 accommodation. When really they handed out the order to the wrong person before the uber driver even arrived that was actually assigned To my order, which the server and manager said. Like now I understand why I usually stick to the clitonville location, this place screams west broad for sure.

Our waitress was so bubbly and sweet. She went above and beyond for our baby and did so many things she didn’t have to. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing.

I’ve found over the 50 years or so I’ve eaten at Tee Jayes is that it will either be fantastic or terrible with nothing in between this time was very good our server was excellent the food was above average I had the turkey split and it didn’t let me down.
