They have done so much to improve the atmosphere. I really love the changes. The food and service are fantastic. I will always stop here if I want Mexican food. They even have some dishes that I’ve never heard of but taste amazing! I need to convince them to let me work there so I can learn. I always get it to go, so I can’t speak for table service or how their chips and salsa go, but I love this place.

Food was good. The fried was delicious. You must try this. The service could improve. There was only 2 tables and 1 waitress and yet we waited a few minutes to be attended. We need extra napkins and refills and waited a while for that. Other than that, the food was great and prices as well.

First time here. Just searched Mexican restaurants and wanted to support small businesses. Food is great (chilaquiles verdes) and cafe de olla. Service was great as well. (Very friendly) Sat down and bout 3 mins got our order and about 5 min food! Atmosphere is great, exactly what I think when I think authentic Mexican restaurant. 10/10

Wow! I was shocked. What amazing Mexican food. I had the Tacos al Pastor (3) plus rice and beans plate. Very big tacos and some of the best rice and beans I’ve had in a while. The chips and salsa are reminiscent of what I’ve had at the Frontier Restaurant near the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. The red salsa was heated up and super tasty. I definitely had to have a second bowl of salsa that I immediately poured over my rice.
The service was fast and friendly. The green taco sauce (for my tacos) was nice and spicy. Just the way I like it. I have lived a mile away for several years and I never thought of stopping by. Now, it will be part of my regular schedule.

Flavorful chile relleno with chips and hot salsa. Usually chips and salsa a side piece to the main dish but they made chips and salsa at the same level as the chile relleno.

I love finding and visiting little family-owned restaurants!! Sometimes you get lucky & find a good one.. this time I got beyond lucky!!!
This place is great!! Customer service, cleanliness, friendliness, quality of the food, and condition of the restroom and restaurant itself all scored high on my picky test!! It really was an awesome place… I recommend it for grown-ups alone or even with their kids… They also have this really cool student special for $5 which is great because there’s a school right up the street where the kids are able to leave campus for lunch… I thought that was pretty awesome of them to have… mom ordered a gordita with chicharrones and I ordered a torta with carne asada and both were delish!! I found my new breakfast / lunch spot…. To the staff; thank you all for your wonderful service!! I love your place & the family pride your restaurant shows!!!! Two thumbs up!!
