We had made a reservation at another winery that had closed so we stumbled upon Barnhouse. We walked up and asked if they were kid friendly and they said yes. They have lots of different beers, coffee and even wine flights! The staff was great and very welcoming. They have games in the back and even merch! Also the pup that is posted everywhere even made an appearance which my toddler loved. We will definitely be back!

Super place, loved the marshmallow coffee and the food was good. I got the sausage rolls which I think was only missing a side of sausage gravy to dip Them in. Loved the atmosphere with the theme being around the dog that hangs out. He is so well behaved though and impressively cute. Would recommend for a quick bite.

We spent a total of $42 on an iced latte, a sugar cookie, a soda, and 2 breakfast burritos. I got an iced Supermellow latte (half sweet) and it tasted like sweet milk. No coffee flavor whatsoever. The cold foam they use is the Target brand from a spray can. Which is fine, but don’t charge $6+ for a latte when nothing is even made in house. At least Starbucks makes their cold foam. The breakfast burritos were bland and small for the price (literally eggs, cheese, meat, and French fries for potatoes. No onions or any seasoning). The best thing we got was the sprinkle sugar cookie for my daughter.

Welcoming atmosphere. The coffee we order was really good after a long day of wine tastings. There was great live music and out door seating. This place is centrally located, the perfect place to chill for a bit and people watch.

Came in to meet some friends but in the short time I was here I really loved the place. Good vibes and really cool staff. They make a lot of different coffee drinks and it’s cozy comfort but their dog made it great. Leaf is the mascot of the bar and best part is you can buy Merch with the pup on it too! Would love to come back and hangout here again!

Best coffee shop I’ve ever been to! My boss got them for us one day and I’ve always wanted to go back and try. Today I did, and it did not disappoint! 10/10 ! Highly recommend!

I want to start by saying the lighting in here is amazing! I’ve been coming to Barnhouse since it first opened. Originally, it felt more like a coffee shop than a pub — I’m not exactly sure when the switch happened. Now, after 3 PM, it’s definitely more of a pub. I’m not sure what the mornings are like.
The coffee isn’t exactly up to my standard, but that’s understandable for a place that’s shifted to being more of a pub. Internet access is also a bit limited — you have to get a separate code for each device, and each one only lasts an hour, which can get pretty frustrating. This isn’t the friendliest spot to get work done anymore, but again, it makes sense given the change in focus.
Service overall is great, though it would be nice if the staff showed a little more excitement about seeing customers rather than just taking orders. That said, I really appreciate the staff member who took a couple of minutes to sit and listen to my story — that was a nice touch.
Overall, this is still a great place — just different from what it was when it first opened.

My mother and I dropped by the Barnhouse today and ordered iced lattes and a couple of mushroom and cheese empanadas to tide us over until lunch. The service was great and the iced lattes were good. The empanadas, however, were TERRIBLE! I had a sinking feeling as soon as I saw them: They were pale white and a bit shiny, as of they had just been thawed/heated in the microwave. The pastry was tough, rubbery, and flavorless, and the filling was underwhelming as well. Seriously disappointing. We had also bought a cookie to go for the road (PMS flavor), and it was way too sweet with no nuance given all the ingredients. I would drop by again for a latte, but I recommend skipping the food!!!

I’m in love with the concept here. I love a place where you can get coffee all morning and all evening. This is the first place I’ve ever seen coffee flights. They have some next-level batistas; these are creative, cocktail bar quality, just with mixed coffee drinks. I’ll remember all of these, but “cherry blossom” was heavenly and my front runner. They serve pastries and savory pies, too. The coffee cake was a little dry and unexciting. Service was great service, the place is spacious, and it had a good vibe/music. I came in the AM, but I imagine the vibe is different in the evening (they do serve alcoholic beverages all day, too). Definitely add this place to your itinerary while visiting Napa.
