Food was amazing. The rest of the staff were great. Even in the end Hanan didn’t bring us the bill, she sent someone else – but before he reached our table we already got dressed and walked over to the bar to pay. We also asked for the 6 oz of Shiraz red wine but was given the 9 oz. Again I was too disappointed in the service to make the correction and paid it anyways.
Our dinner was just too long. The night seemed to drag on with no end in sight.
We’ve been to the Mississauga and Vaughan Chop locations multiple times and loved their service.
Ambiance is nice and easygoing. Good place to go with friends.
I want to preface this by saying I’m usually not into “fancy” foods, so that might be on me. I was super excited because I love prime rib, but I can’t say I loved it here. The service was a 10/10 as usual, but the food was lacking.
I ordered the 13oz Prime Rib (medium) with mashed potatoes and béarnaise sauce. The meat was tender, but it didn’t have much flavor and needed more salt. It was also a tiny bit overcooked for a medium.
For the sides, the mashed potatoes were tasty, though I usually prefer mine more buttery. The béarnaise sauce was just okay, nothing crazy. the green beans were good, but the sweet potatoes had zero salt and were pretty underwhelming. I also tried the Yorkshire Pudding, which was cheap, but both the pudding and the sauce had almost no flavor at all.
The Bathroom (8/10): The setup is good. They have an ADA-accessible one on the main floor and others up some stairs. It’s spacious, and while the ADA one was slightly unclean, it wasn’t anything crazy.
Sad it didn’t live up to the hype for me, but the service was definitely the highlight.
Recommend it.
The creme brulee they gave as a complimentary for my birthday celebration was really tasty as well! I like that it wasn’t too sweet, and that it was very creamy. Also, the multi layered chocolate cake was really tasty. Had the perfect amount of sweetness, and was quite smooth and moist. The slice was also really big for the price, it was decently reasonable.
All in all, really good food! I would definitely come back another time for a good steak!
Service: Our waitress Chelsea was very nice, considerate, and attentive. The other staff that worked there were very friendly and understanding as well. Definitely had some really good service at this place, no complaints here! It justified the higher price we paid at this restaurant compared to more cheaper places. To be honest, I also liked that they didn’t sing me happy birthday in the middle of the entire restaurant, because that type of thing embarrasses me a little.
Atmosphere: This restaurant is really pretty. It makes for some amazing pics, and the washrooms were very clean and elegant. The atmosphere definitely made the entire meal feel very nice and special!
Great place, would come again on a date possibly.
