Casual place with wonderful food. This is the best place I’ve found in Surrey that had Mumbai style Street food like misal pav, kheema pav, omelette pav etc. The food is super tasty and true to flavors you would find in India.

One of the best Indian snack spots in the area, with plenty of menu options. My go-to favorites are Mutton Keema Pao and Palak Patta Chaat. They also have a decent drink menu. The service is great and the ambience is pleasant. I especially enjoy the window side booth seating. The prices have gone up though, which makes it less of a regular spot now.

Extremely disappointed with the food. I ordered Manchurian and Chhole Bhature, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The taste was absolutely terrible — no flavor, poorly cooked, and seemed very low quality. The Manchurian was soggy and bland, and the Chhole Bhature had no proper spices or freshness.
What’s worse, I started vomiting after eating it. That clearly shows the food was either stale or not prepared hygienically. This is completely unacceptable and very concerning from a health and safety point of view.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very bad quality and a horrible experience. I got food poisoning and still not able to recover it. Now i am adding the photo for proof if you think that i have ordered it from somewhere else i took it for take out.

The only place in vancouver i have found so far that sells sizzler. They have absolutely amazing sizzlers and chaats as well. Have tried quite a lot of their menu. Their service is also good. The restaurant has put up all indian phrases which is really fun to read.

This food completely ruined our party and caused embarrassment in front of our friends. I would not recommend Apna Chat House, especially for important or special events.

First time trying Apna Chaat house and I have to say that I was very impressed. I would definitely be going back here again whenever I’m in Vancouver. Customer service was excellent and there are tons of parking. The prices are good and the food were amazing.

02Feb’26 – We had great time having lunch & listening to old Bollywood music. Food was delicious, Tawa mutton very well flavoured, tender & importantly servers piping hot. Chaat platter was also very good, pani poori pani was very good. Dessert Sizzling Brownie was also well presented & good. Kudos to your production team in making our afternoon meal so good.
Service staff were also attentive, helpful & cordial.
Shruti looked after our table & was very good.
