Today was our fourth visit here and we discovered the drawer. IYKYK. we spent most of our time enjoying the peaceful, quiet ambiance. Our sushi was so delicious and flavorful. Very fresh. We got the dragon roll, the Hawaiian, Philadelphia roll, peach sake and our all time favorite, the NO NAME. We spent $87.15 before tip. It’s well worth the price. We enjoyed our server (she maybe have been the owner). She was very kind and friendly.

Yokohama was wonderful. We were served by Emily who was so kind and helpful when helping us choose what to order. We even got to meet the owner Debbi who came out to make sure everything was well–she is a bundle of good energy. The restaurant itself is like a mini museum you can walk around and see so much character and artifacts.
My favorite dishes were the tuna nigiri, firedragon sushi roll, and there was a chicken and beef dish that was delicious but I forgot the name.
We loved it so much that we came back the next day with friends and ordered family style.
5 stars. Will be back again.

Lively late night atmosphere and generous quality fish in their sushi and sashimi creations in a small, intimate space.
FOOD
Adding an update for a new fave –get the CHIRASHI it’s super delucious with generous portion of sashimi and sushi rice!
I ordered the Shrek Forever roll and it was delicious. The roll is big and each piece took more than a single bite. The fish inside was in generous chunks, and overall it was a delicious creation with subdued, mild flavors.
Chicken Katsu was a HUGE serving with a lot of rice, so I was able to enjoy it the next day for lunch.
The grilled squid is my favorite appetizer to share. It’s chewy (normal for squid) and pairs well with beer.
SERVICE
We were seated right away and the drinks and food came out promptly. Server checked on us and the owner even gave us a little sample of another dish to try!
I do wish that we had been seated in a less high traffic area.

Been wanting to try this spot for awhile and finally got the chance this week! Went one weekday night about 45min before close. Pretty quiet and great service. Very attentive staff. Started with miso soup that was amazing – not too salty. Then tried a variety of sushi rolls. They were delicious. Probably one of the best sushi places we’ve food locally. Definitely on the expensive side but the food is amazing. Will definitely go again!

Celebrated my birthday today with a trip to Yokohama Greenwood. We have been here several times and it is never disappointing. Today we had the sushi poppers as an appetizer. We then shared the Volcano roll and a poke bowl . The service was great and we always enjoy the cozy atmosphere.

A charmingly adorable little sushi house in downtown Greenwood! The sushi rolls are the real star here, but the Japanese Steakhouse also offers hibachi dinners. Three rolls I choose were absolutely beautful and delicious! I went on a week night and had no wait getting a table, but would imagine since there are so few tables, during a busy weekend evening, you may need to consider a reservation. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! Check out this fabulous spot ASAP

The food was so delicious. The beef with rice is perfect! The fish is also fresh. The owners are actually Chinese people. Friendly. But I wish the waitress can be more active. I was actually walk in front of the kitchen to ask them bring me a sprite. Also their tab water taste a little bit funny to me. But overall, good place to go!

(Not sure where my first review went so this is a re-review) this place is always worth the go regardless of any situation or date night. Stepping in the door of this establishment is what I would perceive to an experience of a small restaurant in the country side of Japan. I typically get sushi so I am unsure of the hot items but the sushi is absolutely worth it. Check out their website as they have classes and much more on there. (situations permitting). still great and getting busier, go on the off days if you want the cozy quiet experience

Absolutely amazing establishment. When you walk in you are greeted with a very neat, clean, and gorgeous dining area. The staff are all very kind and friendly. I came for lunch and got the chicken katsu meal. It was absolutely delicious. The chicken was hot and crispy. The rice was sticky and very yummy. The miso soup was hot and refreshing. The price was very reasonable for such delicious food! I will be returning many more times in the future!
