Sarah’s On Main is such a wonderful spot! The food is delicious — the sweet potato hash with chorizo was amazing, and the Quiche Lorraine was fluffy, dense, and perfect. The lavender coffee was such a unique and comforting touch.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and Sarah herself is so kind and sweet, which makes the whole experience even better. Truly a place that makes you feel at home while enjoying a special meal.

What a fabulously adorable place with amazing fresh dishes! First three items on the lunch menu sounded perfect, so along with trying all of them, had to add a blueberry cheese danish too. Everything was delicious and made perfectly.

Seeing how high this establishment is rated, I made the 180 mile round trip to Sarah’s On Main with pretty high expectations. Regretfully, I just don’t understand what all the hype is about. I will say I’ve never had French toast in the form of sliced breadsticks before, and I appreciate the attempt at a unique take on the dish. The appreciation ended though when the dull knife provided couldn’t cut through about half of the French toast because it was so tough even after soaking in an entire container of maple syrup for a while. The egg was just your ordinary egg with no seasoning whatsoever, which left the three little sausage links as the sole redeeming part of the meal. At least the wait staff were all friendly and the quaint establishment was in a nice part of town with ample street parking.

The falafel bowl was so tasty. $17.00. The banana muffin was delicious! I really love this place and I have been here at least 20 times! It’s a treat and a pleasure to eat here!

Sarah’s On Main was recommended to us by a real estate agent while looking for coffee and breakfast when first in town. He mentioned the homemade bread was incredible.
We have since been multiple times and always leave fully impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere. We’ve enjoyed pastries, sandwiches and lunch specials. You really can’t go wrong with any order here. And the coffee is easily one of the best in town.
As an update, we’ve recently ordered from their dinner club. It was a beef stew, polenta, and salad. Wow. The whole family loved everything. We’ll definitely be ordering again.
Love the outdoor garden with mural area.
Would be grateful for more gluten free options and longer hours but completely understand the costs and staff challenges associated with both.

Stopped by for breakfast and couldn’t have been happier. The French toast was amazing, the breakfast brioche sandwich top notch. There is a bread magician here. The coffee and atmosphere was great as well. By the time we left the queue for coffee and yesterday goodness was present but moving along.

113 mile drive to Sarah’s On Main, and it was 100% worth it! The food was great, atmosphere, and the people were amazing! You can immediately smell the delicious food and handcrafted drinks – oh and don’t forget your cookies!
I got my food super fast and everyone was smiling and having a good time; at work, who knew!? It really seems like a good place to enjoy your morning, brunch or, afternoon! The only thing that could be better is if they gave me the food for free, ha! TikTok’s “Best in Wheeling” wasn’t wrong!

I love this place. I don’t even consider myself a salad person but oh my gosh their salads are so good on every occasion I’ve had them that I crave them. Genuinely delicious food. My only small complain is that sometimes the espresso (I usually get a cappuccino or latte) is hit or miss. Maybe it depends on who makes it. Overall I really love this place and employees are very nice. I like spending time in there.

Overall sarah on Main is a wonderful place to stop by and grab food for on the go durring the chilly months while a great place to sit and enjoy your food durring the warmer months. Their out side dinning is well put together and is pet friendly!
They do tend to lean more healthy then other cafes so if your not used to home cooked food then i would try another cafe in wheeling
Definitely would recommend this place though, with how polite and sweet the staff are, especially Sierra, she was a delight. So polite and quick with my order, even checked up on me which was pleasant : )
