When it comes to authentic Peruvian food, most people think of Ceviche. We thought of just that and did not stop there. We wanted to make it a fun and enjoyable culinary experience for everyone alike and decided to launch a fresh new restaurant concept in the heart of Kendall off of Southwest 84th Street, Miami, Florida, named after our chef and owner Carlos Brescia’s nickname, Dr. Limon. Our trademark is not only a personalized service, but also a fresh menu where most of the traditional Peruvian plates have been reinvented and changed into medical terms. To complement this innovative cuisine, our guests can choose from a wide variety of wines, wine-based craft cocktails, real fruit juices, and of course… desserts!
Peruvian restaurant featuring a vast ceviche menu, cocktails & quirky hospital-inspired style.

But the worst part came when it was time to pay. The prices we were charged did NOT match the prices listed on the menu. For example, a lomo saltado that was listed at $22 on the menu ended up costing $40 on the bill. Some dishes were charged at double and even triple the listed price. No one explained the price changes, and there was absolutely no transparency.
I am more than disappointed with a place I once truly admired in every way. I brought friends who were visiting for the first time, and they left just as disappointed.
I am peruvian, I go to Lima twice a year. The ceviche from Dr. Limon is better than in Lima and so is the chocolate cake and lucuma ice cream!
The only place where I leave 20% tip because they deserve it!
That said, we usually come prepared, knowing what to expect—a long wait for a table and a bustling atmosphere. Despite these challenges, the food makes it all worthwhile.
Parking can also be tricky since the plaza has a small lot shared with another restaurant. I recommend planning ahead, especially during peak hours, to avoid frustration.
The customer service was outstanding as well. We were taken care of by a woman from Medellín, Colombia (Francis), and she was incredibly attentive and helpful, making sure we were comfortable the whole time.
Next time I’m back in Miami, I’ll definitely come back and do it all over again.
The Messi sushi roll is so good, I’m not even kidding! We also got the stress free ceviche, which you get to try 3 different ceviches preparations.
Very pleasant server who took care of us.
It’s a little loud the ambience. But everything else amazing!
