We have been several times to Umami through the different restaurants they have in town, and every time our experience has been quite positive. However, yesterday was the first time we came to this particular one and we found the portions smaller than expected. The duck had, overall, two pieces of it, despite how tasty it was. The sea bowl was also nice but not the tastiest. The attention was nice and we did not have problems to find a table, but we were a bit surprised since previous experiences had been so good.

This is surprisingly very very nice place! First, menu choice, it is simply great! The variety allows to pick any options you prefer, vegetarian or vegan, and everything tastes great! Second, drinks: they offer a variety of self-made beverages that have unique taste and would fulfill the expectations of very picky tasters. Third, service: in our case, it has been very fast and the atmosphere in general inside is very attractive and pleasant. Fourth, the design, especially toilets ( ), very nice and unique! Overall, highly recommend visiting! Would also recommend to reserve a table on busy evenings (e.g., Friday-Saturday), the place can get busy

We really loved this place in Berlin. The restaurant is cozy and with a nice interior design. The food was really good and the portion quite big. The service was good but a bit slow, they served the food before the drinks and they never bring us the second round of drinks. Something to work on

Umami Berlin is a great spot for some tasty Vietnamese food! The service was super fast and the staff were really friendly. I especially loved the traditional ambience, it felt very authentic. Definitely try their homemade White white west drink, it was delicious and refreshing. The pho was the perfect comfort food, and it was nice to have the choice of chicken or beef. They also give some sauces to match your taste buds (spicy sour etc). There’s plenty of seating, including some cool floor seating options. It wasn’t too busy on a Sunday, but it sounds like it can get packed on weekends, so a reservation might be a good idea then.

Amazing Vietnamese restaurant with friendly service! Everything we tried here was very tasty! Over time I have chosen my favorites- Fish pot( salmon in combination with vegetables and rice) and Coriander mule( delicious homemade lemonade with fresh coriander).
