We moved from Charlotte where Salsarita’s is very popular and there are several locations. I came from Baltimore,our new home town, this afternoon for lunch and left joyfilled. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. I will be back soon with the family.

Wife ordered take out. Terrible way overpriced food! Never seen tortilla chips this thin and fragile! The bag of chip was full of crumbs. Cheese dip was bland. It used to be very good. The bowls were really bad. They have gone way downhill. Never going back.

Normally we love Salsarita’s. But today are take out was a mess. Ask for taco salad shell to be boxed separately so it would stay crispy. And when we got home there was no shell to be found. The fixing in the bowl were leaking out the bowl and the queso came open on the chip bag.

I wanted to try Salsarita’s verses going to the competitor down the street. Restaurant area seemed clean. However , the food looked dry or dirty. I had the salad with shrimp and chicken. The chicken was burnt and dry.

We recently did a catering order through Salsarita’s. We did the taco bar with grilled chicken and grilled steak and then added on the fresh guacamole. Everything was excellent! Ordering online was quick and easy. When we went for pick up the staff was extremely polite and helpful, one of them even offered to help us carry the food out to the car. Even though we didn’t need the extra help it was an above and beyond gesture that I appreciated. The food was delicious and stayed hot for our guests. The trays and set up with the sterno burner was an added bonus! Everything was packaged efficiently and made it easy for transport. My guests raved about the tacos! I wish I had snapped a quick photo but the food went so quickly that I was unable to do so.

Perfectly Imperfect
Any time someone young is working, my tacos are half full with the last one containing the least amount on carry out orders. Its old. Done spending 50 at a time for this crap.

Ok, sure southern California (the region within the state of California) is a hard place to compete against when it comes to Hispanic inspired food but basic culinary standards shouldn’t be that hard.
So my burrito was one cold as if out of the fridge even though it was just recently made, two wetter than a dog in a river and three wrapped into a stubby looking turd. I unwrapped it, dried it and got annoyed by the fact I can’t have a cold burrito because the meat was cold (carnitas) the girl serving me didn’t bother draining the tomatoes or corn and her poor wrapping job spilled inside the wrapping and made it a wet burrito. So I ask them to fix and they wrap it in foil and put it on the same grill that doesn’t even heat up your tortilla..and when I got it back nothing changed, it was still very cold.
A quesadilla was ordered and other things but cheese and tortilla were in it when it was just cheese and tortilla. Nachos, easy to get right, no same cold ass meat, oh and before anyone says I could’ve tried other meats I did and the chicken was dry, the steak was dryer than the desert and the ground beef was like eating sand.
So yeah, I’m done with this place and it’s sad because the staff who appeared not to give two flying fuc#$ when I came in really made it clear I wasn’t welcomed and this place was not going to be worth the $30 we were about to spend.

Stopped here a few weeks ago after a hike in Parkers Creek Preserve. Solid lunch option! The burrito was big and the chips hit the mix of tasty but not too salty. Works for me!

This was recommended to us earlier today, so we gave it a try. So happy we did. The staff took their time to clearly explain their menu options and process. The food was very plentiful and good. We were surprised how large our burritos were. And the prices were reasonable. We will be going back often. They have many other foods we are now wanting to try!
