Tips From A Bellman
I’ve been here several times over the years and just realized I never did a review at this location. The Red Rock location is closer to where I live and I go there more than here. I like this one better though because of the cool atmosphere. It’s like an old Southern Juke Joint as we used to call them back home in the Carolinas. It’s a separate building not an attached store in the mall.
The food is pretty mid here. Nothing really stands out , but is pretty consistent. The bbq sauces are pretty good and on my pulled pork I usually mix the Memphis and the Hot & Spicy. I’m not too big on the Original. Ribs here are okay , but I personally go somewhere else for ribs. Deviled Eggs for an appetizer are good , but a little pricey. On Veteran’s Day they do a free meal which is nice for a business to do and yes I’m a Veteran. They also sell beer and mixed drinks here.

Fantastic ribs with a Smokey flavor. Good weekday deal. Portion sizes are something to be desired. Only knocking one star because $60 didn’t include a lot of meat. I get it, things are outrageously expensive everywhere. But wow, it was surprisingly very little meat for the price we paid.
The deviled eggs are crazy good!

Amazing BBQ place right at a nice little shopping street with lots of fun and cool vibes especially at night. The place is huge and with a massive smoker right in front of you. I ordered the beef ribs and they were amazing and well prepped. The Cole slaw and fries were great and needed addition to the meal. I also tried their banana pudding which was OK. Fantastic and attentive service with smiles and care. Will come again for sure.

I received a gift card from my boss for my birthday to Lucilles and i am so glad he got it for me!
Since we were on this side of town we decided to try it and the Staff were so friendly and nice. Especially our server Claudia! She was friendly, welcoming, and gave us some good recommendations!
The food was juicy and delicious and well worth the price! We even went home with some beignets for later.
When asked about how we learned about Lucilles I mentioned my birthday gift card and about never having been. A few moments later she came out with a piece of chocolate cake topped with some vanilla ice cream and a candle, along with a birthday card signed by the staff. It was such a surprise and beautiful gesture! I have never received a birthday card from a restaurant before and I really loved the extra step and care.
The manager even came over to make sure we had a great experience!
This restaurant is definitely worth the try and I know for a fact we will be back to sample all of the other bbq goodies they have to offer.

I’m not sure what happened to this establishment, but it’s really gone down hill! It used to be great. I had dinner for two last night 11/21/25, the food quality was horrible, and the service wasn’t great. Our side dishes were cold and stale. The restaurant itself was very cold, it didn’t even feel like they had their heat on and it was cold and raining outside! I ordered beef ribs and paid extra, but I’m not sure what the burnt mess was they served me? These ribs used to be HUGE portions, what is this!? Is it even a beef rib?
I probably won’t go back here again.

I ordered online for delivery. I received my food so cold and the barbecue baby back ribs and the chicken it was not fully cooked. The chicken still have blood. I end up throwing them. It’s a waste of my money. I will not order again.

Being from the south I’m very particular about my barbecue, but I was told that this place was really good. Don’t get me wrong. It wasn’t terrible, but it was far from the best barbecue I’ve ever had. I ordered the St. Louis ribs as opposed to the baby backs And honestly, I couldn’t tell the difference in size. I also ordered the burnt and pork belly and there was nothing burnt about it and most of it was just chunks of fat. The mashed potatoes did not taste terrible but they certainly didn’t taste like homemade but the mac & cheese was pretty good. I sat at the bar so I can’t really say the service was bad because the bartenders are taking care of so many people. Overall, the atmosphere of the place seem nice, but this is not someplace. I would run to again for barbecue. I feel like there are better choices out there And probably a little cheaper as well.

Wow tremendous food! The service from Xavier is excellent always ask for him. You’re lame if you don’t. But Fidel !! Great host , super professional, made my experience, super comfortable and unique.
