I enjoyed all the munchies I could!
The empanadas were all good. I really like the spinach/cheese, and ham/cheese. They have other options such as chicken, and beef which were also good. The yellow dipping sauce for the empanadas is perfect comb with all the empanadas. The loaded nachos was scrumptious, and the corn was a great addition. The chicharrón preparado was good, but you have to eat it fast as it gets soggy quick. There are other menu options, and drink options. I’d recommend this place for a quick snack. There is space to sit inside, but it’s limited. They have outdoor seating as well which is also limited. There is plenty of parking. The wait for the snacks was longer than I would have liked but it was worth the wait as the empanadas came out hot, and fresh. The staff was very kind in greeting us as we entered, they were patient with us trying to figure out what we wanted, and helpful in making sure we had everything we needed before enjoying our snack. It was very clean, and I love that they have games you can play while you wait for your snack.

My elote en vaso was good and also warm. The piña shaved ice had more of a gelato consistency, rather than what it was supposed to be but the flavor was good. The manzana preparada was really good.

I am writing to provide some feedback on my recent experience at Munchies, specifically regarding their Mexican street snacks. Overall, while I found their snacks to be satisfying, I felt that there were certain areas that could use improvement.

First and foremost, I must commend Munchies on their selection of Mexican street snacks. The variety offered truly captures the authentic flavors and essence of Mexican cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the menu and trying out different dishes. The flavors were rich and the presentation was visually appealing.

However, upon closer inspection, I must express my opinion that the quality of the snacks was just satisfactory. While they were enjoyable, they did not exceed my expectations. Consequently, I would rate my experience at Munchies with a 3 out of 5 stars in terms of the snacks themselves.

Another area that I believe requires attention is the customer service at Munchies. While the staff was polite and accommodating, I found that they lacked attentiveness and promptness during my visit. It would be beneficial for Munchies to invest in training their employees to provide a more efficient and attentive service to their customers. Strengthening the customer service aspect would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

In terms of pricing, I found Munchies to offer reasonably priced Mexican street snacks. The affordability was certainly a positive aspect and would attract customers who are looking for quality food at a fair price. However, I do believe that the value can be further maximized by improving the overall dining experience, particularly in terms of the quality of snacks and customer service.

To summarize, Munchies has a commendable selection of Mexican street snacks that encapsulate the essence of the cuisine. However, there is room for improvement in terms of the quality of the snacks and the attentiveness of the customer service. Taking steps to address these areas would undoubtedly elevate the dining experience at Munchies and leave customers more satisfied.

Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to seeing the anticipated improvements at Munchies.

Cute little place, very clean and friendly staff. Inside and outside seating available. I went and tried their corn in a cup a couple of days ago and it was really good. Today I went back and tried the rusa drink, very refreshing with pineapple and orange chunks! I’m definitely coming back to try more items from their menu.

This is not a raspa, a raspa is literally shaved ice.
The tostilocos are literally can corn.

Best corn in a cup in San Antonio! Their corn in a cup consistently has the perfect amount of spice, creaminess, and saltiness. The Sandia Agua Fresca is very refreshing so it pairs well with the corn in a cup for me. The Fresas con Crema is very rich!
The customer service is positively noteworthy!

Drove 25 mins. Cueritos tasted kind of old but everything else was really good. Great customer service. Got everything to go so it wouldn’t be soggy by the time we got home.

I’m giving it one star because I called to check on my order and they’re rude. The girl actually didn’t even let me say goodbye and hung up on me.!

3 stars for effort. The Tostielote and Agua de Melon were really good. Corn in the cup was good would be better if they had Mexican Corn. Took a little long to place my order, both girls were busy in the back but the wait time wasn’t that bad. Tables were dirty and even was a empty cup still on one. When given my order they didn’t give me napkins or spoons.
