We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Red Lobster thanks to our server, Clifton. We were celebrating our son’s 10th birthday, and it was his very first time trying lobster. Clifton went above and beyond to make the experience truly magical and unforgettable.
He was incredibly kind, attentive, and engaging, especially with our son—explaining the meal, making him feel special, and turning what could have been just a dinner into a core memory for our family. You can tell Clifton genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in what he does.
Because of him, this birthday celebration was extra special. Thank you, Clifton, for making our night so memorable—we’ll absolutely be back!

Great food, great service, great dinner. Food was delicious. Our server, Clifton, was excellent. He had our food ready and brought biscuits and drinks before we asked. He was friendly, helpful and very friendly. Even when he had to catchup with me, as I accidentally took the signed receipt with me. He was very nice about it though.

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at Red Lobster, and the food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. Everything was served fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The seafood was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and of course the warm Cheddar Bay Biscuits were a highlight of the meal. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy good company along with an excellent meal.
What truly made the experience special, though, was the outstanding service. Our server, Cher, was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout the entire visit. She made sure we had everything we needed, checked in with a smile, and created such a warm and friendly environment at our table. Her positive attitude and thoughtful service made the meal even more enjoyable, and I would happily return again thanks to both the amazing food and Cher’s exceptional hospitality.

Amazing dinner tonight… We sat at a table in the bar.. Cher the bartender handles all drinks and all the tables in the bar area the same normal waitress/waiter duties and is a star!!! What makes Cher so special and a stand out is the following.
Amazing personality, calm under pressure, even temperament, quality customer centeric, takes an order without writing it down and had 5 active tables, bar duties, which doubled as we were leaving.. She handled our order perfectly again without writing anything down you cannot match that and she never missed a thing. I’ve been in Human Resources my entire career for 30 years you must promote this person to a lead trainer or senior manger and Red Lobster can be great in more locations.
She has pride for what she does and I’ve never been disappointed.. Isiah is another standout he is a long term waiter who we’ve sat with before as well he is 5 stars, they all are here Also another waiter helped her too with tables not sure his name but he was sweet.. The comraderer with teammates is vital, everyone plays a part, its so impressive, the staff and management all matter to a 5 star rating!!
The food was incredible tonite as well and the chefs made my food magically awesome.. Longhorn cannot make a good steak to save their lives, never once cooked correctly and Red Lobster Steak was the best I’ve had in forever and your a Seafood resturant..how crazy is that.

Shout out to Lesley, she was fantastic with customer service, and I felt so well taken care of. I asked for the Veterans Day special, which included 3 biscuits, 6 shrimp, and fries. It was a wonderful meal, and I didn’t have to pay anything extra.

I can see the difference Red Lobster!!! Our food was excellent, piping hot, and full of lobster and crab pieces. Glad to have the hush puppies back and they were better than years ago. Would definitely come back. Our server Clifton was amazingly attentive and friendly. Dessert was divine!

I have been going to this restaurant for years and on Saturday 9/6/2025 I finally found a server that is worthy of a great review!! My server was Isaiah and he was amazing!! I have been going to lunch here every Saturday for awhile now as my “Grocery shopping day lunch” and today I finally found a server that was super attentive and actually listened to what I was saying and made sure that he actually relayed my concerns to the kitchen so I would have an enjoyable lunch and get it as it should be fixed!! In my past several visits I shared my concerns with the staff at this location about my food not being cooked properly nor the amount of food being correct and not one made any attempts to correct it- Well today I found Isaiah and I explained my concerns and to my surprise when my food arrived- it was PERFECT!! Not only is he a great server his attention to detail is amazing!! I did Thank him while I was there and I also told his General Manager Dylan about my amazing experience as well- So if you ever find yourself at the Red Lobster in Matthews NC stop in and make sure you request Isaiah as I know he will take great care of you!! He is soft spoken and super polite and will never leave you having to ask for anything!! Thank you again Isaiah!! You are amazing!! See you next Saturday!!

Clifton did an incredible job. The seafood crab leg boil and surf & turf lobster & steak was so delicious. The lobster punch drinks hit the spot. He was so nice and went over & beyond to serve me & my wife quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much we loved it for our date night. Please give him a raise.
