This is their Enchiladas Poblanos “2 chicken enchiladas, topped with poblano sauce, and queso fresco.” When I called to explain this was mole sauce I was met with defensiveness and a lot of confidence that this how the dish comes. I figured I’d leave a review with a more accurate description of what this dish looks like for those expecting a creamy green poblano sauce. I disliked the small taste I had, but to be fair I have never enjoyed mole.
My kids got a chicken quesadilla and that was good. I’m not sure if we will be back because the customer service was off putting and couldn’t take responsibility for a mistake.

We came tonight with our family of seven. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who looked after us throughout the night. She did an outstanding job! The chips were tasty. The salsa was also fresh. Personally, I prefer a little more “spice,” but my wife and children loved it. We also got the queso dip, which was delicious! Excellent flavor and a thicker consistency than most restaurants (it actually stayed on a chip.) The food arrived quickly, especially given that the restaurant was busy and had only been open for a few days. I did have to return my order, but they quickly fixed the problem and sent a replacement. (I ordered no mushrooms due to an allergy.)
The food was delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The corn tortillas are amazing! They make these from scratch, and you can tell the difference. We finished our meal with churros, which did not disappoint! (The image is a little messed up…Before I could take the photo, the family began digging in.)
I wholeheartedly recommend paying them a visit! A fantastic location to dine at while on a vacation in Melbourne/Cocoa Beach. Thanks again Maria!

I had a wonderful dining experience. The Mocajete was spicy and delicious. The strawberry margaritas could be a little more sweet and more alcohol. Definitely feel cheated on the alcohol content.
The quesadilla with chicken is very tasty. I also recommend getting the cheese dip for your chips.

EXCELLENT FOOD and Great service! I LOVE Chicken Milanese, and it seems this place is the only place that does one! AND BOY IS IT GREAT. Also LOVE their CHIMICHANGAS, their tortillas are fresh and SO FREAKING GOOD, and the shredded chicken is A1.
Topped off with that AMAZING QUESO, which is literally a MUST HAVE with practically ANY dish.

Breakfast was delish! I had the Monarcas Skillet and the eggs were perfectly cooked. Their house-made hotsauce was very good. Flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The coffee is very very good. I’m looking forward to becoming a regular.

¡Todo bien! There are quite a few good to great Mexican restaurants on this stretch of the Space Coast, but new-arrival Las Monarchas still manages to separate itself from the others. Breakfast alone does so (a few breakfast classics, but mostly creative and flavorful Mexican breakfast dishes, without resorting to breakfast burritos and huevos rancheros), but their extensive menu for all 3 meals and great Taco Tuesday specials will keep you coming back! Everything that we have tried is delicious!

Stopped by the day before their grand opening. Wonderful food and the spicy margarita should not be missed. GF options, just ask. Their salsa and tortillas are delicious along with everything else we ordered. Will be going back. Definitely recommend.

This restaurant is located on the west side of A1A just north of Cassia Boulevard. There is parking around 3 sides of the structure. The evening that we went there the parking lot was full so parking may be a challenge on busy days. The structure is newly painted with pictures of Butterflies along the walls outside following the Monarchas name. There is a beach-like area and deck in front of the restaurant with some seating. The entrance is on the east side closest to the beach. There is a hostess stand where we were greeted and taken to our table. The tables are a mixture of booths, short tables, high tables, and a small bar. They were busy but we were taken care of in a very reasonable amount of time. They have a large menu with many items. Chips and salsa were brought while we waited for our food. I ordered chicken fajitas and my partner ordered a beef taco salad. Both came within about 10 minutes. The taco salad had a large portion of beef and my fajitas came on a skillet still sizzling. The one suggestion to improve the fajita dish would be to provide more shells than the 3 provided when serving the dish. Still, it was a delicious dish. Both meals were excellent and the staff was friendly and professional. The price for 2 dishes (large servings) and drinks was $35. Overall it was a very nice experience and I would recommend this place to fellow travelers.
