For the mains, the Chili Onion Dosa (9/10) was fantastic with just the right amount of kick, and the Masala Dosa (8/10) was a very solid, traditional choice. While the Medu Vada (6/10) was decent, the Gajar Halwa (9/10) for dessert more than made up for it—it was absolutely delicious. I finished the meal with a warm cup of Chai (8/10).
Overall, this is a great spot for high-quality vegetarian options with a unique fusion twist. I’ll definitely be back for that Pakora platter and another Thousand Island drink!
The Mango Falooda was the highlight for me — rich, creamy, and refreshingly sweet with just the right balance of flavors. It’s honestly one of the best faloodas I’ve had in a long time!
The menu beautifully blends authentic South Indian flavors with contemporary twists, creating dishes that are both comforting and exciting. Each plate is thoughtfully presented, showcasing fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced spices. The signature fusion specials stand out for their creativity without compromising the rich essence of Chennai’s culinary heritage.
The grill selections are especially impressive — tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Whether you’re enjoying a hearty main course or sampling their appetizers, every bite reflects quality and passion. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and always ready with great recommendations.
Chennai Fusion Grill is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of flavor, culture, and innovation. Perfect for family dinners, casual outings, or special occasions, it’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again.
Service was a bit haphazard but perhaps because they were still setting up.
The cheese man was very good. The kheer was tasteless, alas
The ambiance is clean, spacious, and family-friendly. Staff are polite and attentive, constantly refilling dishes and checking on guests. The dessert section features both Indian sweets like gulab jamun and Western options like cakes and ice cream — a sweet end to a great meal.
One small downside: during peak hours, it can get a bit crowded, and some items may take a few minutes to be replenished. But overall, it’s great value for money and a must-visit for lovers of South Indian and Indo-Chinese fusion.
Some standout items included the goat curry, butter chicken, curry leaf chicken, lamb curry, and the spicy chicken vindaloo — all rich and cooked to perfection. For the chaat lovers, the tikki chole chaat, mixed veg pakora, and pani puri were delicious starters that really set the tone.
And let’s not forget the desserts! We ended the meal with strawberry mousse, rice kheer, and gulab jamun — the perfect sweet finish to a great meal.
The service was friendly, the ambiance clean and welcoming, and the variety on the buffet was excellent. I highly recommend this place if you’re craving flavorful Indian food in a buffet style. Definitely coming back again!
