I have had pizza all over the place. This place was by far the best. Thay light crunch biting into the first bite with the cheese stretching was so delicious. We didn’t even add any parm or anything to them. And the atmosphere was classic. The servers were wonderful. And I love how you could watch them making the pies. We will definitely be back, just sad we don’t live closer and that it took us this long to get here.

Dear reader, I hope this message finds you well. This is a story I will never forget. It all starts when my associate and I got to big ed’s. As soon as we got there we were greeted with wonderful hospitality and lots of smiles. The hosts Maddy and Isaac, took us to our table which we then met our server. She took our order with lots of patience because we ordered a very specific pizza. After waiting for a while, we spoke to a few people of the restaurant. I will say the people of the restaurant are very well mannered and extremely friendly. We had a few laughs Orben, Rodney, Jayden, the supervisor Sidney and a woman that went by the name “Cuzzo”? We were treated with respect and kindness. These people listened to our stories and shared some of their own. Once we had finished eating, it was time to pay. Unfortunately, my cave man associate and I didn’t have much more then $21 measly dollars. Fortunately, One of the managers named “Des” Offered to pay for our meal. I nearly started crying, but my associate did. I was very touched by their generosity. This is my thank you to all of you. Not only was the pizza delicious, but the kindness they showed me was even tastier. So, to the fantastic team at Big ed’s, the people are what make it what it is today. Thank you for making my day brighter and my belly fuller!

I was in town on business and everybody said I had to try Big Ed’s pizza. I definitely was not disappointed. It was a very busy place but you could tell immediately that the food was going to be amazing. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. If you’re in this area I would definitely recommend it.

The pizza was great with a crispy thin crust in the Italian style. The service seemed to suffer because it seemed to be only highschoolers running the place and there was only beer. No wine or even cider. Dragged to whole experience down.

This place is of Oak Ridge legends! It’s exactly what you’d expect from a local pizza place. The pizza was delicious! The staff is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere on a Friday, early… like 3:30 or 4pm was not busy. But it 100% does get very busy!! The prices are reasonable. I will definitely come back again and again. That said, the restrooms are not what you want but what you deal with. This could surely be a lot better. I cannot speak to the food allergy people on this visit because they weren’t with me and I ate allll the cheese unashamedly! Next time I will check and update. Get a t-shirt because… It’s Big Ed’s.

Good pizza! Our family enjoyed it but for the price it was underwhelming. The crust was bland and I wish it had some garlic salt or butter or something. Maybe dipping sauce would have fixed that for us. I did enjoy the veggie pizza with pepperoni added. Honestly though, Dominos hits the spot for a fraction of the price.

Went here after the owner handed my boyfriend a gift card to come try it out. We LOVED it. The crispy crust was PHENOMENAL & the prices were good! Definitely coming back with the kids; a large pizza could definitely feed a family of 4 with no problems!

First time here, there was a line at the door before they Opened lol. That was a GREAT first sign!! Busy busy busy, but a party of 6 seated very quickly, no wait. Atmosphere was interesting, lots of cool memorabilia on the wall! This place is a lot to take in. But in a good way. Ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, big Ed’s special, and a half pepperoni and cheese. The pizza had a great flavor! All the pizzas we had were amazing! They have a spot where you can watch the pizzas be made which was awesome for the kids! The crust was nice, not over cooked, it was just right. Service was great as well! Would absolutely recommend!
