There is a wide variety of options and it is all-you-can-eat, so feel free to mix it up and try something different.
The food is Mongolian style, meaning you pick all your own raw ingredients, bring it to the hot plate, and several cooks work in tandem to cook yours, and everyone else’s dishes.
You also choose your own sauce(s). This is both a good and a bad thing. You can combo flavors together and make something fantastic that you’ll then promptly forget and struggle to ever make again. Lol. Or you make something inedible and have no one to blame but yourself as you walk back up to the counter, defeated and hungry.
Really though, once you have found what you like, it’s easy to reproduce and enjoy every visit knowing you had a hand in creating your meal.
BEWARE: If you have a severe allergy to something from their buffet, you have to tell them. They will give you a special color bowl for your ingredients, but this does not prevent the actual food items that have been savaged into each other, nor does it stop the open air cooking on the same cook top as everyone else.
They do scour a spot clean on the surface, and make every effort to quarantine it off, using spatulas for it uniquely and trying to avoid contamination. However, it is still a shared space. I have never seen anyone have a poor reaction, so they must be good at keeping it separate, but if your allergy is strong enough, use caution.
The grill warriors were not people I would want interacting with the public at my business. Not very friendly, no smiles, and both just seemed a little upset. Also, both men seemed a little unkempt.
The service was great. She checked on us a few times, didn’t hover, and didn’t forget about us even though we were seated in the back back back corner (we actually loved the table).
The store was clean, and so were the buffet lines.
