The frozen margarita was perfectly tart and the salsa was fresh with a little kick in it.
Had the chicken chimichanga and it was delicious and fried to perfection. Ingredients were fresh and well prepared.
Nice vibe and window looks out onto busy seat for some great people watching.

Upbeat vibe, festive music, a Mexican restaurant where everyone seems to know each other. Had margaritas, a side of guacamole & the chicken quesadilla. The guac had great flavor & texture. The chicken in the quesadilla was juicy & very well seasoned.

This spot right here is the real deal. Food always hits, rice and beans taste just like home and the chicken be crazy good. Portions big, prices good too, you don’t leave hungry.

I went for the first time due to the history and the few Latin restaurants left in the area. Ordered bistec salteado that was over fried, burnt and tasteless. The service was ok, the decor was cheesy white led like an uptown club. The menu has over 70.options, immense which is usually s bad sign. I am looking forward to trying castillo next, however, I will not be back here. Good spot for a cold beer and to hear some music.
