Placed an online order and it was done fast but I requested pepper jack cheese and didn’t get it 🙁 wish they would of payed a little more attention to the order details.. other than that it yummy! Would recommend!

So Pastrami sandwich seems simple enough request. They pop pastrami in microwave and promptly over cook it. Meat should not be microwaved it ruins ir. Problem is I remember Togos original goal, good food excellent value. Current ownership view is least amount of food and maximize profits. I strongly believe Togos days are numbered as the amount of customers have dwindled to just a few… Sad..

This is the better of the Two Togo’s in Gilroy. It’s what you would expect from Togo’s – Fast, friendly service and good sandwiches. They don’t give you a hard time when you want to use your rewards like the other Togo’s in Gilroy. I always get it as take out, but the dining area is always clean and has plenty of tables. They even have tables outside under shade. I always go to this one now, even though it’s a little more out of my way. It’s worth it.

The older gentleman didn’t have any gloves on while working at the register and then loaded our sandwiches in the wrappers. Ugh. The moth-ball smell was off the hook, which took away the generally pleasant smell of fresh bread. My wrap wasn’t made correctly and my sons sandwich was covered in pepper. Ugh. Maybe we’ll go to another one.

Most of the time their sandwiches are good but I’ve been given the wrong sandwiches and wrong bread before. Plus been shorted on meats. And why does my tag say sourdough and they gave me some sort of oat bread…yuck.

Skimpy meat portions, mostly bread and produce. Ordered only because I was at a catered event and noticed that the togos sandwiches that were catered were nice & fat like the pictures online, so I ordered online for pickup and it was more bread than anything. Flat. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I decided to try in person ordering and they not only skimped on the meat, they flat out didn’t add the salami in a turkey and salami sandwich!?. The bathrooms were also out of order and there were multiple flies in the food preparation area. One particular employee was not friendly. Never coming back here, not worth my hard earned money.

I am traveling this morning, so I went in right as they opened! The owner and other employee friendly greeted me as I walked into the door. I ordered a hot pastrami and it was delicious and fresh! My whole order was ready in about 5 minutes! Would definitely recommend!

Togo’s overall, I love. However, the quality of the meats has definitely declined over the years, especially the pastrami, which is my go-to. This particular location is not good at customer service or order details. They always miss something. If you order from their location on Door Dash, good luck getting your order correct…
