Not from the area, was hungry. Tried this place and was REALLY surprised how good the pizza is. The building is off the main historical drag and its under renovation inside, but I dont care much about atmosphere, just the product.

Perfectly toasted without being burn at all. The crust is flaky and doesnt flop and sag and its perfectly textured. Fantastic balance of cheese and topping, not too much but plenty. Not a giant greaseball middle like many places.
For small town midwest this is really high-grade pizza, and ive traveled a lot.
Very nice staff and reasonably priced, about 30% higher than mega chains like Dominos Marcos etc but the pizza is far superior.
The dining area is small and they are remodeling but if you just want carry out or youre solo this is aces.
I read some reviews and it seems the older ones are not during the same owners or place because those older pics look nothing like today and the staff was super nice.

The name ‘Pizza Bucket’ seems insane until you try the pizza and discover it’s pretty good. It’s a cute restaurant with an interesting historical background, which is rare in modern restaurants. It ties the food to the area and lends to its likability and meaningfulness. Staff is friendly!

The best pizza I have ever had. This pizza was phenomenal. The dough had the perfect texture. The ingredients were amazing. It was actually good pizza. It wasn’t loaded down with butter to make sub-par food taste good. They are doing some renovations, looking forward to how the place looks once they’re completed. I will definitely come back.

I wish I could rate
the food, service and atmosphere, but, unfortunately, I could not get into their building because it is not handicap accessible. My wife and I use mobility chairs and there is about a 3 inch step to get into their building. Like I told the waitress, “my wheelchair can’t jump that high.“ I know Pizza Hut has been there since I was a kid and it seems like by now they would’ve made it handicap accessible. Makes people like me feel excluded!

I don’t understand where everyone’s “rude employees” are. The lady who took my order was very pleasant. When I walked in I was greeted. I was reminded to grab my drinks. My food is hot and delicious. Highly recommend the taco pizza. Thank you! Will be returning while in town.
