First time eating here. I loved the simplicity of the menu. The price was amazing. 12 bucks for an entree, bread and a drink. The taste of the food was second to none and the bread was the best I have ever had from anywhere. Didn’t even know this place existed until recently and now it will be a frequent stop for my wife and I. Highly recommend going for either lunch or dinner. Food was made fresh to order and nothing tasted frozen.

Salad and dressing was fantastic. Bread withe butter was unbelievably good. Had the goulash and it was good. Was not crazy about ordering before you sit down. Very limited menu. Food came out in plastic to go containers which makes it easy to take home leftovers.

This place is a must visit when passing through Russell Springs, KY.
This is such a neat, little, local, Italian resturant. Everything is homemade, even their noodles. They have daily meals that come with a drink and bread. We added a salad with their vinaigrette dressing (so delicious)
We love finding local restaurants when traveling!

I took my dad to dinner at this place because I thought it was just a cute little restaurant. However, when we got our food, it was very disappointing. The food was obviously cheap. The sauce was watery. The Parmesan chicken was just chicken tender. I feel like if they had better quality food, they would have a lot better service. Otherwise, the gentleman that served us was very kind and friendly. But I will not be going back.

A small restaurant with varying hours (call ahead), this was a pleasant surprise. A little rustic, does to take out. Has have dine in. Crusted chicken parmigiana was amazing. Lasagna fantastic! Highly recommend. Will be back!

Parm crusted chicken – beautiful
Lasagna – exquisite
Food is good, drinks are cans or bottles no fountain drinks
Worth trying it out

Sign out front says voted top 10 Italian restaurants in Kentucky. Definitely agree, cheese tortellini was great! Very clean, owner was friendly, homemade salad dressing was good as well.

Wonderful family owned business! Excellent food! The cheesy tortellini has flavorful, thin sauce that is perfect for sopping up with their warm bread with fresh garlic butter! Definitely a comfort meal location and highly recommended!

We’ve tried to eat here on several occasions. Hours are odd and unconventional. Came in during dinner hours MULTIPLE TIMES and were told they already shut the kitchen down.

We went here to enjoy some spaghetti and meatballs, or should I say meatball! Very dismal serving portions. Flavor was very lackluster, might as well open a jar of ragu sauce and spoon out of it. Service, what service you get better service at McDonald’s. That says a lot. For a place that is mostly carry out, the house should be clean, not trying to make your own Parmesan wheel on the floor. I would say try it for yourself, however I cannot ever suggest such.
On another note there is the name in question! #StropolisFamousPasta
Coming from an actual Stropoli, you cannot take one’s name and just run with it. I can verify that these recipes are not genuine Italian recipes. More like googled “Italian cuisine” what a sad play on words and even sadder play on My Name.
I very much dislike leaving a review as such, but this experience could stand no longer. This visit was not that very long ago.
