We stopped in here for lunch. I’ve been wanting to try it for a while based on word of mouth. It was pretty packed, which is a good sign. We got in and ordered. It took a bit of a wait so don’t come hangry. I was cool to get my marg early and sip on it til our food was up. The food was pretty good for an affordable price. It was a lively vibrant atmosphere and I’m glad we gave it a try.

Chubby’s Mexican Restaurant absolutely knocked it out of the park. My guest and I ordered the Navajo tacos and the fresh chicharrones, and wow those chicharrones tasted exactly how my great grandmother used to make them. Pure nostalgia in the best way. Everything was made fresh to order, hot, crispy, and full of real, honest flavor. The staff and cooks are absolutely amazing friendly, attentive, and clearly love what they do. We’ll definitely be ordering again soon.

The food was too delicious! We had a group of 4 and a variety of dishes including a vegetarian dish.
Everything from the presentation, quality and quantity of food was wonderful! Be prepared to get a to go box!

The food is absolutely delicious, the beef isn’t gristly at all, its flavorful and a great consistency in tacos, tostada and the like. The atmosphere in the restaurant is incredible, its a perfect mixture of nostalgia and home-like; with music that absolutely makes a wonderful ambience. The gentleman that assisted me was kind, attentive, patient, and very pleasant overall which only aided my perception of Chubby’s. I will absolutely come again for the taco Tuesday as the prices are reasonable for the portion, definitely worth checking this place out.

Been going to El Chubby’s for more than 20 years. The restaurant is always super clean and the food is fresh. If you’re looking for smothered and cheesy and spicy go here!! Highly recommend the carne asada fries, deluxe breakfast burrito, or the bean tostadas. Their salsa is really good!

What a great find! Used Google Maps to find a Mexican restaurant close to the Denver Airport and we were not disappointed. All of our entrees were delicious! We were able to get a table immediately but there was a bit of a wait for our food, but be patient because it is delicious. Very popular spot for dine in and drive through. All of those people are just an indication of how good this place is. The chips and salsa are noteworthy. The salsa was delicious and a little more spicy than standard, I would say it is medium to medium hot. Highly recommend!
