Honestly, for Clarksville, I don’t see how you’re gonna get much better. Good food, kind service, nice views. My husband and I enjoyed our time here. We had lunch/brunch on a Sunday at Joe’s and then made our way to the rooftop bar for a digestif. Our server, Peyton, who was also the bartender, realizing there was not a hostess, greeted us and sat us at a booth, she then took care of us, answered any questions we had, and made sure we enjoyed our food and time there. The upstairs bartender, though I didn’t get her name (Peyton had a name tag on), was kind and hospitable. We will definitely be back and feel the current rating system isn’t very reflective of the place.

If you’re a car guy like myself or just enjoy some classic wheels, then this is a must see and eat! The tacos were good and very inexpensive. The flagship beer was ok, but the seasonal one was downright awful, tasted like industrial cleaner! Can and draft! The manager and bartender were fantastic! Highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

Spacious, open restaurant with plenty of seating and a nice outdoor patio too. Most of the restaurant is lined with large windows for a nice view of the city and river. On nice days they open the windows for a cool breeze. The vibe here is contemporary but with a nostalgic twist of classic cars that are actually inside the restaurant. Food is tasty with a great selection of American fare. You can’t go wrong with a visit to Joe’s.

Had a reservation for a small group. The place was practically empty and the service was still not great. Wait staff sat in the kitchen instead of checking on tables. The girl who originally sat us was rude and had an attitude. Waitress was very sweet, but was rarely around to take drink orders while we waited for our food for a while. We had to grab our own drinks from the bar at one point. Bar service was great, but not worth going back. The atmosphere score would be higher if everyone working didn’t look so miserable.

Amazing food and the best service. We came in with a large group and their team was very accommodating and patient with us, despite us coming in at the last minute without a reservation. They knew exactly how to handle a large youth sports team of eaters and maintained timely and friendly service. The blooming onion was an added delight on top of all their other great dishes!

We made a 5:00 PM Valentine’s Day reservation at Joe’s Garage and had an email confirmation. When we arrived, the hostess couldn’t find our name but told us we’d be seated since we had the confirmation email. We waited over 20 minutes while two couples who came in after us — including one who said they didn’t have a reservation — were seated before us.
When we asked how much longer, we never got a real answer. My husband spoke with the manager to understand what was going on, but she only repeated that we would be seated as soon as possible and “I’m sorry” without offering any explanation or solution. The hostess told the manager those guests were there before us, which wasn’t true — my husband walked in right in front of them from the parking lot and even held the door for them. After he explained that, the manager said she had to go by what her hostess said and still made no effort to resolve the situation, even though there were plenty of open tables.
As we were walking out, the manager came from behind the counter almost chasing us to the door and finally offered bar or high-top seating, which is not what we reserved. Staff obviously needs better training — there was no attempt at conflict resolution or to actually fix the issue, just repeated apologies.
This was our first visit, and the experience completely ruined the rest of our plans for Valentine’s night. I will not be back and I would not recommend Joe’s Garage to anyone.

This place is awesome!! Especially if you are an automotive enthusiast. The 2 classic cars in the front window were cool to look at. Especially the 1970 GT500. The food was good I had a 1/2 pound burger that I couldn’t finish but it was good. Everyone in our group enjoyed their entrees. The service was good and the views of the sunset were amazing.

First time there, ordered the traffic jam smashburger. All burgers advertised as well done, was med at best. Tasted good was expecting a true well done smash burger. Bun was a bit thick for a 5 oz burger and was a tad stale too. Fries were super salty! Service was okay and it’s a nice place but we probably wont go back.

I went in here on a Thursday afternoon for lunch. I was the only patron so I was sat immediately. I ordered the bacon smash burger and it was really good. The fries were just okay and the bowl of fruit was also decent. The prices are reasonable for what you get. The service was good. The spot is nice and clean and has a nice vibe. There is outdoor patio seating as well and a pretty decent sized bar. I will return to try other items on the menu. They have some deals that run at certain times as well with $1 wings and whatnot. Cool place to check out! Parking is across the street where the big billboard says “Shelby’s Trio Park Here” and they validate.
