I popped in with my boyfriend because his mom told us about DeDe’s… and OMG we were in for a treat!! Food here was amazing and came out so quick, we had one of everything almost, the cherry pie was my favorite. We’re from LA and we don’t get to see so many small town restaurants so this was such a treat. Rebecca was our server and she was an absolute DELIGHT! we got to
learn about Zion (like lion!) and she told us about herself too! Definitely a must stop
place!

Pure Americana with amazing food. Super cool, historic building, DeDe and fam are all there doing what they do to keep the show running. Must-visit in Parowan and I dare say a must-visit if you’re even within a 20-mile radius of Parowan. Dede’s omelette pictured here is exquisite.

Delicious food! And loved that strawberry rhubarb jam, had to buy a jar to go. It really was good on the fried pickles as suggested! It seems on the whole the flavor profile leans toward liking black pepper, like the clam chowder it was heavy and the chicken fried steak it was detected. We also got the fish n chips and those were good. More of an adult breading on the fish, but the child loved the fish inside and the fries were nice. The pancake was a real hit and the bacon cooked really well to our liking. When we’re back in Parowan, I’d happily try it again! Love the homestead decor and searing, mix of chairs and drinking glasses, and the kids each got a container of crayons and a full coloring book to entertain them until food came. Water came first after sitting then asked for any further drink orders, then the apps came really quickly, and food an appropriate amount of time after that. Seat, eat, get check, and pay at exit. Restrooms are quaint, with old toilets. Really family friendly homestead joint!

This was the perfect stop for brunch after spending a day shredding snow at Brian Head.

The whole place is super cute and beautifully done inside and out. The inside is heavily decorated and cozy.

Portions are huge for the price, and everything was really tasty.

We got the pork chop and the Cordon Bleu – both were great and they come with a ton of sides for variety.

I had the avocado toast with over medium eggs and country potatoes. The potatoes were amazing – the perfect balance of soft and crispy, and somehow not greasy at all. The avocado toast was delicious also. My husband had the Reuben sandwich, which he enjoyed, but would have liked a bit more meat in it. Overall we had a great experience. The service and atmosphere were wonderful and I look forward to trying out more of the menu. I actually looked at Parowan real estate while eating our meal. What a darling town!

What an absolute hidden gem! We stumbled upon DeDe’s Farmhouse Cafe by chance while road-tripping through Utah, and it was the highlight of our day. The atmosphere captures that authentic farmhouse charm perfectly—it’s incredibly cozy and welcoming. The top-notch service really stood out; the staff was so friendly and attentive that we felt like locals right away. The food is classic comfort food at its best, and the hearty portions ensure you definitely get value for money. Its location in Parowan is super convenient for travelers. If you’re looking for high-quality home cooking and genuine hospitality, this place is a must-stop!
