Great service, large variety of food and barbecue, and huge serving size with great pricing. Wait staff was friendly, hospitable, welcoming, despite the line and the cold weather. Love the brisket, potatoes, and salad. Fast and prompt service with large portions and great prices make this the place to go!

I came in to place a to go order. The place was not terribly busy (around 2 pm). The person who helped me seemed like she had other things to do, as there wasn’t really a greeting as much as a mumble about my name for the order then she left as the payment prompt came on the card reader. The food, however, came out fairly quickly.
The collards were OK, probably could have used some more seasoning/vinegar, but to each their own and I could add that to taste after the fact. The chili was quite good if a bit heavy on the beans and light on the brisket. The brisket sandwich was dry. Not quite as dry as jerky, but dry enough that the provided bbq sauce (which tasted like sugary ketchup) didn’t really help too much. One the whole, these issues wouldn’t have been so bad, but it became less palatable for ~$25.

EVERY visit (& we’ve visited numerous times), Jim & Nick’s have not disappointed. The ribs (10/10) are so tender and flavorful. The BBQ beans (10/10) are so delicious; collards (8/10) were tasty, & the macaroni and cheese (8/10). If you are ever in the area, check them out & THANK ME LATER

Service was fast and friendly and the food was pretty good. Came out a bit cold, but the flavor on the pork and their bbq sauce was great. Oh and who could forget the cheese biscuits! The combination platter is everything great barbecue should be! Even the sides, often an afterthought elsewhere, shine here. The mac and cheese is creamy and indulgent, the baked beans carry just the right balance of sweet and smoky, and the cheese biscuits and honey butter are unbelievable.

The food used to be pretty good here but guess that’s changed. I ordered the pulled pork plate as a to go order. I got home and opened the box. Found what seems to be parchment paper I guess mixed in with my bbq. Tried calling to speak with a manager but no one ever came to the phone. Also, the bread seemed a bit stale. The bottom was soft and the tops where hard and crunchy. Haven’t been here in a couple of years but I’m very disappointed with my food this time around. The person at the drive thru was nice and the side were hot though….

We had food catered from this company and the food was delicious. The BBQ chicken was juicy and tender. The sauce was a little sweet with a hint of spice. The beans were also a little sweet for my taste but still very delicious. My family truly enjoyed it. Thank you Jim ‘N Nick’s. To be honest I’m not sure which location catered it. Either way the food was great. My photo doesn’t do any justice. I would definitely recommend eating at Jim ‘N Nick’s.
