Fun quaint truck stop diner. Had a very pleasant efficient waiter, they have excellent wild rice soup, nummy 🙂 and they have Monte cristos! Yay, French toast style but still a treat to find one and it was good. My boyfriend had the country fried steak, said very good and raved about the raspberry ice tea! asked the waiter about it, said it was locally sourced, i do NOT like tea, but now i was intrigued, so took a sip, i was impressed! Very raspberry flavored, like really good, so if that is your cup of tea, no pun intended, check it out. This is a diner, not a fancy restaurant but we have already planned to stop again when we get back that way 🙂

I am upgrading my previous review from 4 to 5 stars, not because the food is outstanding, but it is exactly what you would expect from a truck stop. I had my server Katrina order for me, and I got a hot roast beef sandwich. Though it could have been hotter, it was otherwise perfect. My kid ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. I barely had time to take a picture before he inhaled them, and then finished off half my order. They serve Diet Pepsi, not Diet Coke, so I passed, and God Bless Katrina, she went into the attached store and got me the Diet Coke. The men’s room was clean with towels, not air dryers, though there were paper towels cluttering the floor. I will be returning.

This place is a must!!! When we walked in it was packed, but we found a booth in the corner. We weren’t there long before the waitress came and took our order. I ordered the 5 oz steak and eggs meal and instead of having toast, I had biscuits and gravy. I always order my steak medium rare and it’s been almost always been too well done. Let me tell you, this steak was done to perfection! It was melt in my mouth soft and seasoned with such care. The eggs were delicious and the hashbròwns had a great little crunch to them that didn’t leave them dry. Now let’s talk the biscuits and gravy. That was the most flavorful, thick gravy I’ve found so far. The biscuit was moist but not wet. My husband ordered the corned beef hash and did the same (got biscuits and gravy instead of toast). The corned beef hash had a beautiful crisp to it and it wasn’t overly salty. He ordered his eggs over medium and he said they were actually done correctly (which is also rare). The service was great, the food was amazing, and we have officially starred this place on our map bc we have more to try!
