Food was amazing now I can hear specifically for the guinea pig and the taco appetizer was over the top.. more flavors than one would expect in a taco. The main meal was good and I realized I didn’t want to work that hard at eating the meal, but saying that the flavor was so much better than a dark meat chicken is the closest I could compare it with and the au Grau ten style potatoes would have nothing at the best…

You should try ravioli. The sauce is amazing. Chicken and starter with potato varieties were very delicious. Pisco sour classic was one of the best. They also have plates to share. They have alpaca and guinea pig as well. If you’d like to be an adventures, they have tasting menu..

An absolutely outstanding experience. The food is spectacular — every dish is full of flavor, balance, and creativity. The ceviche is fresh and perfectly executed, and the arroz chaufa is one of the best I’ve had: comforting, refined, and deeply Peruvian. You can truly feel the thought and technique behind each plate.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and warm, with a unique atmosphere that reflects Andean culture in a modern and elegant way.

Customer service is a solid 10/10. Iván and Percy took incredible care of me — attentive, kind, and genuinely passionate about making the experience special. Their service truly elevated the entire meal and made me feel very well taken care of.

Chicha is a must-visit in Cusco. Exceptional food, impeccable service, and a place that honors Peruvian cuisine with elegance and soul. Highly recommended.

Chicha is quite known and hyped in the restaurant scene, and I must say the hype is justified. Our experience at the restaurant was nothing short of amazing. The meticulously curated dish selection is fantastic consisting of mostly of Peruvian-Fusion dishes which borrow elements from other cultures. This means that you get to try authentic local food but with a special twist. The staff were friendly, the space was cozy and the food was delicious. 100% recommend

We were recommended this restaurant by our host.
As a vegetarian, I have found it difficult to get good vegetarian food…..
I advised our host Christian that I wanted to try the Chaufa & he advised that he would be able to order me a mushroom Chaufa & my husband the pork Chaufa.
We had ordered a starter each but Christian advised that the main course was large & we wouldn’t eat it all.
Our Chaufa’s were both delicious!
Thank you Christian for your help in ordering.
I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to locals & tourists – the food, ambience & service was very good

If you’re looking for a place to try la comida cusceña I highly recommend. The service by Milcom was really lovely. He recommended me some beautiful dishes and warned they come quite big. It’s a bit difficult if you by your own and want to try many things.
I’ve tried trout ceviche, great. Then chupe sagrado, lovely combination from the area but not completely my personal flavors. But the star for me was ravioli with lamb and pumpkin. Incredible!!

During our 6 nights in Cusco we tried 6 different restaurants. Chicha is clearly the best of them for the quality of the food, nice ambiance and outstanding service. They are able to make the traditional Peruvian dishes delicious with great seasonings and cooking to perfection.
The only thing I suggest they do better is to add their wines in the drinks menu. They have many bottles of wine in their cellar but do not list them. They should.

I went for my birthday and had a fantastic experience.
They basically serve traditional Andean Peruvian food, but elevated to its best possible state. They’re not trying to reinvent the wheel, but they are perfecting it.

I ordered the panceta, and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, and the crust was perfectly crisp and crunchy.
For dessert, I ordered the churros, and they were fantastic too.
To drink I had the chicha morada and it was delicious.

For my complementary birthday dessert, they brought out some profiteroles with ice cream. SO good!

The place was beautiful and the atmosphere was lively but not loud.
The service was impeccable. The staff were all very helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable.

I ordered a pork taco, sacred soup, roasted chicken, and mint tea. The pork was dry. The soup was bland. The chicken and the mint tea saved the night. The chicken was tender, well-seasoned (although a bit too salty). Their mint tea was amazing! The best mint tea I’ve ever had in life!

The service was okay when I first arrived. However, once it got more crowded (at around 7:30), it took them 20-30 minutes just to pack my leftover and give me my bill. It was frustrating.
