A solid spot for a quick bite and a drink while waiting for your flight. The Obrycki’s Famous Crab Cake was delicious and packed with lump crab meat. The kitchen staff were attentive, but the bar service lagged — even simple requests like placing a food order or asking for the check took longer than expected.

First off – I don’t expect much when it comes to airport food if I’m being honest. Second – this place rocks. After being turned away by several eateries prior to 9pm as they were closing soon I was racing through the airport looking for another place to have a beverage and get some food due to my flight being delayed until close to midnight. Enter staff member who clearly sees me in distress and hungry after traveling all day say hey the kitchen is going to close soon come order! She gave me a stellar recommendation and placed an order for me just in time. Had she not called me over despite the full bar counter I think I would have missed the opportunity to eat ‘real’ food that evening. Quickly a spot became available so o was able to sit down before my food arrived. Thank you mysterious person! Although a bit pricey the crab roll was dynamite and worth every penny. Wine was also very good and the bartender was open later than the kitchen – another victory!

P.s. the tots were crispy and perfect

3 stars ONLY because of the food. The staff and drinks were GREAT!!! I had a very taste Manhattan, which I do strongly recommend.
I originally wanted the oysters but the restaurant didn’t have them (probably out of season). However, they were still on the menu.
I ordered the crab cake Caesar salad for $39.99. I was hoping to get a flavorful crab cake that would justify the price. But I didn’t. The crab cake with so blend (watery), I relentlessly added salt and their seafood seasoning throughout the meal. It is hard to describe the filling they used in the crab cake but i am not a fan. Overall, a flavorless $60 bill was heartbreaking. Yet, undestandble due to the up charge and gamble for eating at the airport. I recommend this place for the drinks and the friendly staff but skip the food.

Okay I’m sorry but the people are nice, the place is clean enough. “BUT” how are you charging these pricing and serving my food with a plastic fork and paper ramekin? And my food! For this price should have been amazing! Key word “should” have been! Over cooked, does not match the description, taste for the most part was fine. “BUT” again, for these prices….. it should have been Great! Most likely will never stop here again. Finish my beer, eat my (what ever this is) and go somewhere with some pride in their menu, service, and that has food worth what they are charging. Sad. Pictures here of the menu and appetizer, forgot to take a picture of my meal!

I ordered the peel and shrimp cocktail. It was a bit over cooked. I was expecting a bit more but it was alright and good to fill me up for my flight. Overall great place for some quick seafood.

Crab roll was pretty good, not a value for the price but very good. The vodka lemon drop was pretty stiff. The server was nice. Its the airport so you can’t expect much as far as atmosphere. I’m sure the value is better for other items but I did kind of order a high ticket item but it still wasn’t worth the price. They were also out of most beers when I stopped by.

We flew out of Gate A15. There was a little bar right there so we figured we would try it out. It was amazing.

Our bar tender Dannette Nicole was hands down the best. She was funny energetic and beyond on point with getting our orders out and correct. We did not stop laughing with her the entire hour we were there before out flight.

Food:
It was some of the best airport food I’ve had. We had the BBQ chicken Flatbread and shrimp tacos.
The Flatbread was big and very tasty. Easily as sharable dish between 2.
The shrimp tacos had an amazing taste and were perfectly made.

Will definitely be back!!

Looks way better than it is. Ordered the chicken sandwich. Basic ingredients, almost looked like a microwaved sandwich and not worth the price at all. The cole slaw was 50% celery seed I couldn’t eat it.

Not a 5 star restaurant but excellent food at the airport. My busy schedule and sequence of events did not allow me to grab a crab cake. Lucky for me I arrived early to airport and there was a 45 min delay. So google maps sent me to the DE connector instead if the sister restaurant in Terminal C

I was in A so had to leave security area and walk to D&E terminal. It was a short enough walk but through security 3 times

So why do I tell you all this? The crab cake was worth it. When I got there the bar tender server was slammed but he methodically and efficiently just moved through it all. He remained attentive and polite all the while.

He was bussing tables, making Drinks and taking food orders. Yet he got a glass of water to me right away with in 2 mins of me taking a seat. I ordered a crab cake and 3 salts oysters on half shell. Before shucking my oysters he refilled my water

He asked how I wanted my crab cake fried or broiled. I kind of shrugged so he offered that fried was faster but broiled was traditional. So I took traditional.

The open face sandwich showed up about the time I finished my oysters so it really was not much longer to get it traditional broiled.

He asked if I needed anything and I said I needed something for the salad portion because I intended to eat the crab cake alone. He brought out a aioli which was perfect for the lettuce and tomato.

I used malted vinegar for the fries.

The crab cake was light golden brown and had huge pieces of lump crab meat. Had very little of the binder in it. The crab was remarkably sweet to my surprise.

Crab is not my first choice in seafood but if I had eaten something like this earlier it could be. I have had various stuffed crabs, crab legs and fish dished with crab in the sauce. I have eaten crab cakes in Charleston SC before as well.

I looked at the ticket and it said Joseph was my server. He found time to make some conversation and assured that I had every thing I needed when my food arrived. Upon leaving I asked him if there was a easy way back to C terminal. He kind of chuckled and said they has a sister restaurant in A.

Then he said if your flight gets delayed again you get hungry go there and tell then Joey sent you. He offered more water and declined.

Frankly outside of having to go through TSA separately to get to this restaurant. I doubt that from C that A is any closer. TSA got me in and out quickly in both terminals so no big deal.

Might have been different if I had less than an hour but with 2 hours there is plenty of time

Oysters were clean and only $3 each and no minimums

The crab cake basket was $26. Based on menus I have seen that was a fair price and actually exceptional given I was at Airport. Yes I looked a lot of place with the intention to get one but just never did for one reason or another.

I stopped at R & R Seafood in BWI Airport for lunch and I was seated at a table that still had food on the floor under the table. While the food was okay the waitress Val decided to take a shortcut to serve my drink by reaching over the ADA ramp railing. She dropped the drink and spilled it all over the table and me. Without.a hesitation her response, well I didn’t spill the whole drink on you. No manager come to check if I was okay anything. I paid my bill and yes no tip. But I would not be frequenting this establishment again.
