Great food and diner vibe. Friendly service and atmosphere, while dishing out our meals quickly. Kids options are great and plentiful. The chicken and waffles were amazing (and I’m not a breakfast person), chicken had a nice crispness while still tender, waffle was huge and fluffy. Hubby enjoyed the steak and eggs as well as his side of scrapple. French toast was a hit amongst all the kiddos as well as the scrambled eggs and sausage. The adult classic french toast was a large portion, as was the french toast big breakfast. Another ordered the steak omelet which looked amazing. We had a very enjoyable and tasty breakfast.

Great food! The service was excellent! Both the appetizer of clam chowder and pierogis tasted excellent! Furthermore, the dish of fish & chips were the best! It’s a well kept classic diner! They also have vintage vehicles on site! There’s so much to choose from on the menu as well! Enjoy!

Stopped in for breakfast and really enjoyed the experience. The staff is friendly, and the owner has a great personality—he personally greets everyone and checks in a couple of times to make sure you’re doing well. The place has that classic old-school diner vibe, and there’s even a garage with vintage and newer cars to check out, which adds a unique touch. Definitely a fun spot for both good food and a bit of nostalgia

Very friendly staff and a lot of classic diner options on the menu. I went for chicken and waffles and it was a great choice. What I liked especially is that the chicken had a different coating to what I was expecting, plenty of herbs and spices and cut through the syrup on the pancakes.

Goobers Diner is tucked away in Wilmington waiting to be discovered! The only 2 level diner I have seen. Not only looks cool but the staff is friendly, great food, and a step back in time. Goobers Garage next door has an amazing auto collection! Great place to surprise a car enthusiast and enjoy a great breakfast!

For the price of the food I thought it would have came with more than one piece of French toast which was literally just unflavored buttered bread with no cinnamon sugar nothing to make it be considered french toast hash brown was hard as a rock eggs overcooked and sausage cold based off the other reviews I gave it a try First time here and most likely wont return If I would have known it was only gonna be one slice of French toast for that price I would have just ordered everything from the SIDES section of the menu

Love Goobers. Food is deliciously prepared in a retro style diner. Breakfast is my favorite here. The eggs are from a local Amish farm and they are delicious. The baked goods are baked in house as are the pancakes and waffles. Plenty of seating on both floors and they even have an elevator to get to the 2nd floor. Perfect for ADA folks. Besides good food and service they have a car museum attached that you can visit on Saturdays for free. This place is amazing.

The prices are very fair. I’ve been to Goober’s many times. Their breakfasts are delicious. So many choices of varieties of eggs benedict. I’m always watching my carbs and am always able to substitute fresh fruit for either the potatoes or bread for a very small upcharge. Great lunch selection. Service is always friendly and the manager comes to your table to thank you for coming in.

This was first time visiting this diner, I look for diners because I love eating at them. I saw the website and history of this two story diner and said, I have to go! The place is super clean but our very small booth was not comfortable at all. The manager came out and talked with us which is fantastic! Keep it up. The food and service though was disappointing. Again if you’re reading this post, I go to a lot of diners and I don’t look for nor expect 5 star food and service. I look forward to comfort food and friendly helpful service and they fell short in both of those areas today.
