Best spot for Thai in Mansfield! They food was so flavorful and delicious! Great customer service, I’ll definitely be back for more. I had the basil chicken fried rice and it was amazing. The Ginger tea is also really good.

Had dinner at Sunny Thai the other night and overall it was a great experience. It was semi busy for a weekday evening, especially since I came after 8 PM (they close at 9:30). The restaurant is easy to spot from the street, small and cozy with compact tables, and the vibe was chill. Staff was super relaxed and friendly—sat me down right away, no wait.
Started off with a Thai iced tea, and wow—it hit the spot! Haven’t had one in a while, and this one gets 5 stars. I then ordered the Tom Kha soup with shrimp at medium spice level. I always recommend trying this soup at Thai places since each one is a little different. This version leaned less on coconut flavor, but the cilantro, lime, mushrooms, and tomatoes gave it a really refreshing balance. Another 5 stars.
For my main, I went with crispy beef and fried rice. Honestly, this was my least favorite of the night—it just didn’t have the flavor I was hoping for. Next time I’ll definitely try something else. To finish, I had sticky rice with mango, and it was perfect. Sweet mango with warm sticky rice—this dessert is a must!
Even with the main dish not hitting the mark, I still give Sunny Thai 5 stars. They offer vegetarian and even vegan options clearly marked on the menu, which is a plus. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Until then, back to the H for me—I’m out!

Amazing service and food! 10/10! We got the level 4 spicy for the lemongrass chicken, and level 3 spicy for the yellow curry. They were perfect! The portions are also great and the Thailand beer was so good too! You have to try the sticky rice with mango! So good! Also, the wait staff was so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back.

This is MUST TRY Thai! The service was beyond amazing. The food came out extremely fast and was hot, fresh and to order. The crispy chicken fried skins were really good especially with the sauce. The spice levels were a bit mild comparatively speaking, I’m normally a spicy level 3 but could’ve gone for a 4 here. This did NOT take away from how great the food tasted.

GREAT food and consistent! My husband and I have been ordering takeout from the Mansfield Sunny Thai location for a few months now. Every single time it smacksssss!
We came in recently to dine in and their customer service is just a good as the food. Very friendly, personable and chill staff.
We ordered the crab and avocado spring rolls, sesame chicken and drunken noodles. The spring rolls were recommended by one of the staff members and they didn’t disappoint. Great crab to avocado ratio and the sauce was bussin… perfect combination. My husband really liked the drunken noodles (very flavorful). Lastly the orange chicken was light and crispy, NOT overcooked, and perfectly sauced.
10/10 !

Sunny Thai has become one of my favorite place to get fried rice, but I was disappointed on Friday when what we ordered wasn’t the quality we are used to. I called and spoke with the manager. He apologized and offered to fixed the issue. I was impressed of the fact that he took ownership for his staff. He delivered exactly what he promised. Normally, if I have an issue with my food, I don’t return, but the customer service at Sunny Thai has always been exceptional. That keeps me coming back.
If anyone ever has a negative experience at this restaurant, I’d highly recommend reaching out and talking to the manager here. My family and I will continue enjoying Sunny Thai.

We had a great experience at Sunny Thai in Mansfield! We ordered the chicken fried rice with a spice level of 4 out of 5, and it was absolutely perfect—flavorful, balanced, and just the right amount of heat without being overpowering. We also tried the vegetable gyoza, pan-fried to a delicious crisp on the outside while staying tender and savory inside. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly. This spot is definitely a hidden gem for Thai food in the area—we’ll absolutely be back!

Our host and server was awesome! The food was great!! It was fresh and served hot!! I wish we had a place with food this good near us in Southern Utah. As we were traveling we likely won’t be back, but we absolutely recommend Sunny Thai in Mansfield TX for casual dine in and definitely take-out!! The only thing that could use improvement was the decor. It feels old out dated and could be cleaner. But as good Thai is not easy to find we recommend this place for sure. We loved the Penang curry, chicken satay was fresh and juicy (with great peanut sauce!!) Thai iced teas were good, just don’t like the plastic drinking glass they came in. Looks nice but not a fan of plastic. They have large great menu!!
