After seeing the good reviews for Mott’s we came from about a half hour away to eat here. On a Friday night there were just a handful of customers. We sat at the bar and got fast friendly service from Carrie, the bartender. Between three of us we ordered some curds, a couple burgers and the walleye fish fry. Food arrived pretty quick and it was excellent. Nothing fancy but piping hot and clearly cooked with care. Between the great service, awesome food and the overall dive bar nature of Mott’s, we will definitely return. Five stars.

We stopped for drink before going to dinner at a near by place. Very friendly place with great smelling soup and food. The bartender was attentive and answered all our questions. We will be back for lunch soon.

Fantastic, historical gem!! Stumbled upon this place because it is the perfect half way point to meet my parents. This has turned into a weekly event, just because we love the place, people and swamp water so much!! They have become my favorite watering hole! The food is fantastic (Mott’s burger – my goodness!) and service is always fast and friendly!

What a lovely surprise! We were looking for somewhere new to go for dinner and found Mott’s after a brief search for burgers. First of all the garlic cheese curds are DIVINE. I seriously can not believe how good they were. We also had the Mott’s Burger which was fabulous. I told myself I would only eat half, but it was impossible not to eat the entire thing. The hand-cut fries were the cherry on top. Our server was fun and attentive. We adored her. We will definitely be back!

First time visit and it certainly won’t be the last. Charming place in the middle of Burlington farmland, very welcoming people at the bar and we were made to feel comfortable almost immediately. A friend of mine, who lives in the area, suggested the Swampwater and I opted for that. Arrived with an empty stomach so we shared an appetizer. Then we shared a mushroom Swiss burger and then we shared a basket of bluegill so our visit was an eating frenzy and we had an absolute delightful time!
Mott’s is on our radar now I’m sorry it took us so long to find it!!!

Country bar type atmosphere, but they treat you like a regular. Drink specials every day. The food we had on a night Frank was cooking was exceptional. Italian beef was awesome and huge. Beer Cheese soup was one of the best I’ve ever had. And the cheeseballs are Wisconsin quality. Highly recommend this place for food and drinks. They have an updated lunch menu and half off burgers Thursday. Brunch first Sunday of the month
